I also forgot to add. If MVCI-AP contact you for a stay at their resorts, die die choose the Phuket Mai Khao one. I think it will cost only SGD300+. Sorry the free 5d4n version is only if members of the Phuket timeshare owner recommend you and not MVCI-AP. If it is another resort, can refuse no problem. I just think that the Phuket one is more worth it if you want to try their services and look see look see. Actual price per night is USD400+.

Just pay for airfare which might be expensive since it can be a rush.

Enjoy!

Below is OT for this thread.

Remember bring along good camera with low light capabilities. The fire lit water feature if well taken can be used for your own personal travel brochure. :s13:

I don't really recommend the spa there. Very expensive but still cheaper than SG. Quickly upon arrival, get a car to drive to Tesco-Lotus. Buy breakfast items to make in the kitchenette. The b/f there kinda expensive but the restaurant, Jinga is top notch if you want to splurge for a dinner.

If you drive further down the small road where passing the resorts there is small beach shack restaurant that the staff go to. Cheaper to eat and they also got breakfast.

There is a small shopping centre of some kind there called Turtle Cove. A little cheaper than the resort's restaurants. The bakery serves damn good pastries. Worth buying some to enjoy in the villa.

June is low season. Might have rain.

Hehehe.... If you got endurance or thick skin. I recommend a newbie, I get points and you get to stay at the Phuket Club accommodations for USD150. :D

But they got requirements. Must be above 30 and married with a job or both holding jobs taking 100k pa combined.

Anybody on cashback rewards program by LGM/Garraway ? , mine is overdue by one year and would like to pull together with others to get them to honour the agreement through legal means.

did you get your money back? did you have to follow all the things LGM asked you to do, like post the documents to London 3mths before maturity date ?

Activation of HCAP Membership from ERI

Dear All,

My friend just received a reminder for activation of HCAP membership from ERI. The membership has been paid in full since 2008 but my friend do not see the need to activate the membership yet.

I understand that ERI is no longer the authorised distributor of HCAP membership. In this case, are they really able to activate the membership??

ERI further state that "This serves as a final notice for your activation. The activation date will expire 45 days and your membership will be terminated with no refund and administrative charges will be billed to you"??

I would really appreciate your advice in this matter. :s11:

Calling all yet to be activated HCAP members!!

dear all,

anyone receive a nasty reminder for activation of HCAP membership from ERI? especially those who have paid more than 50% & yet to activate HCAP membership?

HCAP has responded via email as below:
"your friend is not yet our HC Asia Pacific member. The only contract is with ERI not with HC Asia Pacific so we have nothing to do with the agreement. I would suggest you to seek some legal support for more advice."

my friend is contemplating of seeking legal advice & legal recourse. anyone else is thinking of the same thing as my friend? maybe you can band together & go to CASE for help like the recent beauty chains closure case?

let me explain the activation thingy here.

HCAP will not received any money from ERI, its only upon your activation of membership, ERI will then purchase a HCAP membership on your behalf. this also means ERI is now holding all your money. there are a few reason why ERI is chasing you all to activate the membership

1. The inventory cost is going up
2. HCAP going to stop providing ERI timeshare membership
3. Trying to get you guys up to their office and convince you into converting (which means paying again) into a so call non-maintenance fee membership.

My advise is to members is always "go activate your membership" and try to use it. if you do travel far, its still value for money. those that need advice on booking of holiday using your timeshare can PM me.

By not activating the membership, you are letting ERI pocketing all the amount that you had paid, upon activating the membership, you will need to start paying maintenance fees, so, you decide.
