Did u leave ur tab on airplane mode or wifi on?

Wifi and airplane mode were both off.

I am using hdmi cable from asus transformer via the micro hdmi to tv. But my laptop hdmi port is the standard size and I was wondering if I can get an adaptor so I need only to use the same cable. Any advice? Tks

Update: Keyboard buttons don't wake the screen, but when docked, the dock loses half its battery overnight. Tablet was charged last night.

Anyone having the same issue?

i left mine to charge the whole night yesterday and plugged out to check that both were 100% before going to sleep at 3am..

now i switch it on..battery is 98% on tablet and 99% on dock..
all looks good now..

Wat i experience is that. When i didnt turn on the airplane mode, the wifi was on throughout the night, the next morning my tab and dock went all the way to 0%.

Then the next day i put the tab on airplane mode and it only drop 2%.

So i recommend when u go to bed or u not going to use the tab for a period of time just turn the airplane mode on.

I got mine from US. The warranty is international for the pad/dock.

I experienced that long ago lol.. then i on airplane and it is ok.. but i find it troublesome.. after that got pissed off and uninstall friendcaster HD, FriendMe, and Facebook App.. now i dun need on airplane and it will only drop 1 or 2 % overnight.

Anyway i don't wish to start a flame war or a debate on which is better I came in here considering transformer as a tablet and i am still considering it seeing that comex is just round the corner. Maybe if the price drop or i strike 4D but be assured that if i were to get a tablet of substantial ability, transformer would be the top of the list instead of an iPad

haha dun worry bro, we can only convince ppl away from iphone not force . anyway do consider transformer over others as it is really useful if u prefer to watch movie with it and surf net. experience it and maybe one day u will really like Android. My only dislike is that it dun really perform well under the sun which is minor problem for me la.

I was considering iPad as well. But transformer in the end as with an iPad, I am afraid will use it more for games instead. What I want is something that I can watch movies of different formats easily as well as use office for documents like school or work. Guess iPad did not win me over with their lack of flash player as well.

Comex is coming. Can check it out for more goodies. But from what i see, I don't think they are going to drop the price or throw in anymore freebies. May have to wait till the nex gen transformer is out then they will drop the price. This way, they can ensure that their product and price is considered competitive yet premium and comparable to iPad or any other tablets alike in the market.

Its quite easy to root actually. I dun see any significant improvement after OC actually.

but the difference comes in when watching 1080p videos, I don't mean youtube, I mean mkv files.

After getting back my TF from the service center a few days back, the same problem happens again - TF cannot boot up suddenly. WTF - this is Asus quality at the making

Should have go for a ipad 2 instead ..

Another trip back to service center again.
