i don't find LTE to drain a lot.

after "reset all settings" and just charging whenever i need (sometimes at 30%, sometimes 10%, etc), battery life improved dramatically. mine reached 10 hours of usage yesterday. downloaded a game and played it for most of the day even when out traveling using 3G and LTE. also used GPS on Maps and "Find My Friends" for an hour.

the reading is from the stats screen, which counts time only when it is in use. phone was unplugged at 9:30 am, and reached 5% at 3 am.

also, i always leave it plugged in if charging overnight. true for all previous iphones.
Same here.. I leave LTE on all the way. Morning 9am can last me till 2am with 10% plus left.. Calls, SMS, wechat, Facebook, surfing, maps..

I used it as new. Never restore from backup

Which means 5.1.1 restore as backup to phone got battery issues on iOS 6? I did a restore from backup from 5.1.1 to my iPhone 5.

i restored too, and it drained pretty fast. the "reset all settings" did the trick. putting all settings back took less than 5 mins, so it was worth it.

Do you guys switch the wifi permanently on? So that it will automatically switch to using wifi when it's at home?

try to plug in ur iphone, switch it off. let it charge without the software messing the charging mechanism.

let it charge while off. check it out after abt an hr or two.

it still happens, nonetheless.
charging mechanism can only work so much. no matter how advance it is.
just cause it never happens to u, does not mean it never happens.

That's what you said.

It's 2012. It's an Apple product. ;)

Quite a few of the people here suggested doing a reset of your settings (NOT THE DATA ERASED one ok). Then run through your notification settings and turn off those that you do not need.

It works for me.

hi, i've worked with batteries. tyvm, bye.

Apple - Batteries

Just as those CSO can give false information when calling the telco, working at somewhere doesn't mean much.

Read this from apple's website if it doesn't convince you enough.

No need for full cycle charge. And if you mean over charging = trickle charging, then kudos.
