For military personnel,
I believe that the non camera huawei need to get from the local 3 telco. Need to show the camera removal receipt and the huawei cert to the S2 dept in order to get clearance and the MSD sticker.
If get the phone from other source, it would most likely be deem unless if your S2 dept dun recognize your phone and you have to get another phone.
Thus, people with local telco cert will state so in their post and ask for a higher price esp since they got the phone at a higher price as well.

Dear Users,

Here is the picture sample of the approved version of certification. Also here are some information and tips which will help you endorse your Huawei Non Camera Phones.

1. All existing old cert issue by Huawei will not be affected as long as they have operators' receipt.
2. With the relevant authorites' approval on the new cert, customer do not need to produce operators receipt any more as long as they have the new cert. (Phones from Telcos & Non Telcos)
3. Existing customer that still facing problem going into the camp, can call Huawei Service Hotline or walk-in to Huawei Service to register first and obtain the new cert within 7 - 14 working days.

How to obtain MSD sticker?
1. You will need to show Huawei phone and the new cert to your camp unit security officer to register.
2. Once registered and endorsed by the USO, they will issued MSD sticker for you to paste at the back of the phone.
3. Once that is done, you can go into any camp without any endorsement again.

You should see either "ADB interface" or "Android USB Device" listed in Device Manager if you enable debugging.If you don't see either one, your device is not correctly recognised.

I faced the same problem and I have checked and it does indicate ADB interface....after i exe the root.me...the cmd came up and it juz say daemon not started..and daemon started at port XXXXX(cannot remember the number).....after that we supposed to get a new app superuser right? dun have...used the software to chk if the phone is rooted...it say no....

You can actually open the runme with notepad and try to manually run the commands inside. I suspect it is waiting for your device. I got this before and got it fixed when I got the adb properly installed. I uninstalled the existing huawei devices and replugged the device and all the adb interfaces are recognised. Only then the runme works
