Is this silicone material or TPU? Was looking through ebay and saw similar design as yours but they state it as TPU.
From my experience with TPU/Silicone cases, silicone cases can never get the shiny reflective surface I see in your pictures.

In that case should be tpu. Overall quite slim but black makes the phone look military imo.

I am using the nillskin back cover...very good quality but only thing I am concerned is that it does not protect the front upper and lower edge.
So looking to get full protection cases.
Silicone ones tend to attract dust and lint.
TPU is ideal material but I don't like the "S" design at the back...... why can't they come up with a simple plain clear TPU case?:(

having tried numerous cases on my previous phone, i think TPU cases are one of the better cases which are good value for money and can take a beating. but i concur that there should be more simple TPU cases around.

The S design should help with the grip though, since there are 2 materials put together (correct me if i'm wrong).

STARHUB is having roadshow near bugis junction fountain. Promo for V is those small speaker compared to other phone promo. Looks like Sony not enough marketing fund for end of workyear. Just luck sony released the V now.

According to the boon lay lady, they only recently got current design stock. For more variety to come, must have demand.

My guess is if enough people enquire about it, the vendors will use contacts in china factories to churn out xperia V casings.

So the Xperia v unofficially supports 64gb?

Yup :)

But must use the phone to format the microsd card instead of windows as the card cannot be formatted to FAT32 in windows.

Need to format first with PC or can just put inside and use?

Just put in and use.

Actually PC can format sd card to FAT32, but newer windows dont have the direct options. There are programs to format your card to FAT32 format on PC.

charged mine for about 2 hours from 10ish-% the last time round. Will try to drain more later to estimate timing.

by the way, i bought the exact same case as AS1 from ebay (local seller). build quality seems good, less than $10. if anyone finds any others, do share! :)
