It's actually an excellent buy.
You don't normally get such deals. Those who need a laptop and a fiber plan, this deal is more than worth it.

I calculate the 2-yr costs for all their usual show deals and none are really special. This time however, both the HP and Dell notebook offers are very enticing - so much so that those who don't need a fiber plan or don't need a notebook would be left beating their chests - like me. :s22:

so definitely more worth it to top up for a laptop and sell it, compared to just getting the plans without laptop, correct?

Please advise a suitable USB modem for the free mobile broadband. They just give a 3G card or isit supposed to be 4G/LTE?

I have tried to call up a couple of times and only get $49.90 for 200Mbps fibre plan.

When I use online assistance from Singtel website, I was offered $44.90 for 200Mbps fibre plan.

Maybe you guys can tried that as well :s13:

Hi guys,

For those who's getting the alienware topup offer from ST, did you manage to find out about the Free alienware mouse and Personalized Engraved Plate?

FYI, I got the premium 100mbps deal + alienware laptop. But I am not sure about the mouse and the engraved plate for the M14X.

Please post if you have any insight or info.

Cheers!

Hi all, need some advice here.

I was planning to take up the 200mbps fibre @$49.90 with top up of HP but then it hit a roadblock. I am having mio tv currently for sports and is still connected to my current Adsl modem which is also providing the broadband Internet service.

If I sign up for fibre, ST mentioned a new homeline is needed for the fibre, I need to pay for the homeline plus there will be 2 diff modems instead. 1 for the existing mio tv and the other just for the fibre. Is this even right?

Appreciate all to chip in if u all know anything or in the same situation as me.

Hey, thanks for this. But when u say mio home, it's Internet, home line and TV in 1 bundle right?

My current setup, broadband and mio tv are not bundled together. That's why they are insisting that another modem and homeline is needed purely for the fibre.
