Im on 200mbps plan, but the "status" of the LAN Connection is at 100mbps.
I've checked my Mobo (Asrock H77 PRO4/MVP) and the network card does support gigabit.

Ya. But ur lan connection is only at 100mbps not 1gbps.

That why ur download speed can't hit 200

Weird thing is I have read ur MB support specs. It's does support to 1000mbps. But how come ur com is detecting only 100mbps or lesser.

I got my new desktop just less than 1 year ago.
The driver is : Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller

I could not reach more than 100mbps too. Any help on that?

Either cable or nwk port at the router. Check your adapter settings as well. Make sure it is not hardcoded to 100mbps

Finally, my wired speed has clocked 200+ on Speedtest. However, my wireless speed is still at 70+. I'm guessing I need to upgrade my adapter. My rig has no ethernet card and I'm using an old Belkin USB adapter.

BELKIN F5D8053 USB 2.0 N Wireless Adapter - Newegg.com

Are these specs still inadequate? If yes, what recommended products should I buy to get the optimum wireless speeds with my Asus RT-N56U router? Thanks.

any new promo? almost can recontract already..
M1

if you wait for IT show in a 2 months time - you most likely will get the router for free... and if you are an existing M1 customer, you can get some extra (back-door) perks - if you call 1627 and ask

Im using the free Asus RT-n56 router now.

I've tried changing the Speed & Duplex between 1Gps and auto. connection still locked at 100mbps

i've check online, it seems like the Realtek NIC inside the mobo is getting some prob as well.

It might be my cable too, but its a cat 6 one though.

Or i could just try to plug directly into the black ONT and test if my router bottleneck anot.

Ya try plug direct lan cable to ont & test. If its fine then ur router problem. If same then ur mobo network support problem

Yes you can try connecting cat6 cables directly to the ont box and do a speed test, I tried mine and got 200 overmbps.
