Note 3 is 6-inch (rumoured), so for once Samsung phones are not the biggest :s13:

even Samsung Mega is smaller than Xperia Ultraman :s12:

My preferred size of hp is 5.5... Shiok to surf net n can put inside pocket.. The bezel must be as small as possible to reduce overall size....

Anything bigger than 5.5, I rather get a 10inch tablet along with a phone...

Z's 5inch is gd, but can be bigger..

But the 3000mah battery seems a little light weighted though. Disappointing

I can say the battery capacity is consider not bad with that type of thickness of 6.5mm versus the Samsung Mega with the thickness. =:p

Anyway this looks promising to me, just hope it doesn't hang as much as my Xperia S or SP.

i think considering the phone is so slim, able to squeeze 3000mah is quite good.
but i think main concern is not that.

the main concern...like 1 of my earlier post is that it's 3000. whereas note 2, which is a smaller screen sized phone with lower chip spec is 3100mah.

hence, there's a worry that a 3000 mah battery...whether is it able to power ultra's:
bigger screen, faster chip.

a lot depends now on the efficiency of the lcd and chip.

Yes, agree. It also depend on the design of the firmware and the coding of firmware by individual brand software engineer, no doubt that Sony software engineer did a better job than Samsung.

no idea how they do it or what's the tech.
remembered there's another phone which had this 3.5 mm water-resistant too.
could be samsung s4 active.
Hi gibson7 and happy2da,

The 3.5mm audio output jack is waterproof.

I have asked two senior Sony execs on this, and their replies were the same.

They have been doing water-resistant/proof devices for some time already, and they have improved the technologies behind them. In addition, based on feedback from customers, they prefer the 3.5mm audio output jack to be left uncovered.

I have taken a video of the device being placed in a tank of water, and then taken out, still operational.

Are they still using TFT screen for Xperia ZU? And there isn't any led as seen from the back. Really disappointed
