Hey shawn_sboi
So I heard back from my colleagues. It's a miscommunication. They checked with the JP folks and was told they don’t even have any Gold iPhone. They shared all your feedback with Priscilla’s boss... please don't blame her.
I’m also waiting for iPhone 5s Gold 32GB.

Let you know when there's stock... Hope Apple rolls them out faster!
Hi robleesg,
You are new here and you are indeed working from Singtel. So it's means that Singtel is aware of this thread and is possibly reading each and every single thread we post.
In here, it is a closely-knit community than you can ever imagine. I may not know everyone in real life, but everyone in here recognises our nicks: Shawn_sboi, Negativzero, eileen99, jas007, etc. We have been here longer than you have and you can imagine how close we have gotten throughout the years buying iPhones from Singtel. There are many more who are just reading our posts and I can assure you, your nick doesn't ring a bell in here until recently when I picked you out from the crowd. Robleesg, the iPhone users in this thread are a family in here. We watch out for each other and we help out as much as we can for each other.
So, if you are telling me that Shawn_sboi had a miscommunication, then you obviously don't know him well enough. Before you were in here trying to help, Shawn_sboi was the only guy who bothered to help Singtel users understand the terms and conditions of their contracts. He is the most helpful guy around here, and if you, as a Singtel staff, coming to us saying that there have been a miscommunication between him and the Jurong Point staff, are you suggesting that Shawn_sboi has been lying to us?
Robleesg, look I don't blame you personally. However, please read around the postings and notice the common answers they all got from Singtel staffs at various outlets: "no, there is no gold iPhone for purchase or recontract. However if you do sign up for a new plan or new mio tv plan or etc you can get one." Either you are lying or your colleagues are lying or maybe there has been a miscommunication somewhere on your end because it's not just Shawn_sboi has been getting such an answer, many here have replied and I can imagine many more likewise have but have been unable to voice out in here.
If you tell me that there has been a miscommunication, then please go find out where the issue lie because I trust Shawn_sboi more than I trust you. And I sincerely believe many more will back me on this.
And since you are indeed from Singtel, please help me solve this riddle: where and when did Singtel did a survey or gotten widespread feedback regarding the fact that we, Singtel users, voiced out saying that we do not use a lot of data in our old 12Gb plan because I am sick and tired of hearing Singtel telling me that the change is due to the fact that Singtel has gotten feedback and results of survey done showed that we the users do not exceed 2Gb every month. Show me the results of that findings just like how M1 showed theirs.
Robleesg, on another day, I would gladly welcome a Singtel representative to be among us answering and getting feedbacks from us. However today, you have shown that there is a distinct miscommunication between us and the management of Singtel.
If all three telcos are the same, then it makes more sense for me to move my hard earn money to the other two every two years and not Singtel earn a single bit from me until they know how to display that Singtel does treasure us. If new customers is all Singtel cared about, I can gladly do just that.
Just to give you a little bit of Shawn_sboi's background: he has been queuing for the iPhone since it's launch in Singapore and has been consistently among the top ten until last year when Singtel changed the format. I have started with Singtel during the iPhone 3GS days and been top ten with him since iPhone 4 along with Negativzero. So please, don't come and tell me that "there have been a miscommunication".
We already know that there have been a miscommunication between Singtel and us for a very long time.
