in the context that no English teams got a point here, it seemed like a good point but the performance was still poor, unless our next opponents also so kind as to present us with a free goal also if not we are still toothless and dead in attack.

if chiong all out play attack attack attack possession 65%-35% shooting 20 shoot on goal 10, but end up 0-1, 0 points, will DM be blasted?

actually no, Shaktar launched most of their attacks down the flanks so most of the time we had to defend crosses or set pieces when we gave away free kicks along the flanks.

i did not watch, just to ask, was the midf being over run when there were only MC16 and Cleverley?

probably that's the reason afroboy pushed upfront? coz no need him do dirty job in the midf?

win lose or draw,, the Moist One will still be blasted...
some call him a "small team manager" mentality ( no idea wat is tat),,
some call him clueless....

when he spoke to the media,, we find faults
when he showed his starting 11,, he kena wacked for not fielding this or that.

so definitely no win situation for him.

Moyes expect him to play at Sunderland

Both goals resulted from defensive mistakes. They really like to drill balls into the box which our defenders didn't seem to like very much, or they were just hoping for some pinball luck which they did.
Happy with Smalling's contribution, got into the thick of things and won a few towering headers quite far up the pitch.
Would've liked to see Nani come on though, Evra was being overworked on the left.
No fresh injuries, take the point with thanks.
I thought Cleverley had a fairly good game, involving himself ala Carrick by providing the linkup between defence and attack, and made a few good interceptions I recall.

cleverly was good, fellaini was still disappointing, poor first touch, for such a big man you expect him to hold the ball better also but i dont get the lets pump it to him for him to chest down and play it backwards tactic.

IMO, I think it's 1 point gained rather than 2 points lost.
Put it in this way to make it more convincing.

If this is a knockout fixture played over 2 legs, to get 1 precious away goal and a decent draw against a tricky opponents will put us favourite to go through since the return leg will be played at OT and we all know OT is never an easy place to visit.
Ask Roma (7-1), Arsenal (8-2), and even Barcelona (1-0)

Fyi, we are the first english club to earn a point there =)
This is a record which Chelsea and the rest failed to do all these while.

We can't expect Moyes to field attacking line-up for every matches.
So what if he put in an attacking line-up and got whacked by them?

One positive side is that we got 4 shots and 1 on target, the only 1 shot on target comes with a goal from a person which was condemned by many so far.

Also, we managed to remain undefeated in the group and on course to qualify for the knockout stage. So that's good news =)

Next up will be Sunderland, really hope that we can thrash them 5-0 to silence fans around the world and to show the rest that we are coming back.

*To show my support, I will buy Pick the Score 5-0 to ManU this week =)

For those on streaming and on M1 Fibre (or maybe any telco's fibre), try the Russian streams. The only downside being the commentary, otherwise quality and clarity are all top notch.
