O poor fella... I have my own handful now (4 kitties and also feeding 2 strays below my block), otherwise will take care of him too... hope he will be able to find a good home soon.

We'd consider it too but we just took care of a terminally ill cat with cancer. Now, it's a stray with some sort of liver issue that needs a special diet.

Wife just volunteered us to take care of a Changi Village stray that was hit by a rubbish truck and had a leg amputated. That's going to be an ugly one I think... :(

Thanks and the same to your family for your generosity! The cat is still at the vet...we're not sure yet if she will pull through or not. Vet waived the amputation fee so that's the only silver lining.

Wish I could source one of those large vet/hospital cages to put in the garden for the injured felines we have passing through here. (That's right, HDB, it's all in the garden!) With one of those we could probably take in one more on a temporary basis aside from the permanent one with liver problems.

just came back from helping my friend with this stray

this family kinda 'owns' this stray, but lets it run around and doesn't sterilize him. ends up he gets into fights with other cats, and quite injured. his left eye's inner eyelid came out and his right paw got swollen due to a bite.

luckily the vet is nice, she offered to wave the sterilization fee. however she needs to do surgery on the stray to remove the inner eyelid, and give medication + flushing of the wound for the right paw.

hais alot of such owners around unfortunately.

there is a black female cat at my place also who is sort of owned by this family because they were the ones who brought her home but let her roam alot, then she got pregnant and had babies, i honestly think they are going to abandon the kittens once they get old enough. if im not wrong they havent been sterilising their cats and they just keep getting pregnant or making others pregnant!

they had a male tabby which went missing for half a year and they dont seem to bother about it going missing also, plus its a partially blind cat, i feel sad for the cats cuz the owners simply dont care, they bring the cats back but no sense of responsibility at all hais then so many strays now :< :(

the vet was very angry when we told her the background of that stray. its bad enough to not sterilize the cat, but its worse when the 'owner' doesn't bring it to the vet when he/she sees the cat with injuries. not sterilizing them = cats have hormones raging which makes them go to other cat territories to fight and try to mate with other cats and in term might either have injuries or unwanted pregnancies which causes more strays!

1 small action, makes a big difference

Open: 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.

They carry:

Selection seems a bit limited but the prices are good.

We got:

IAMs 19 lbs at RM 130
Royal Canin 20 lb at RM 170

Still hoping that someone can volunteer the use of a car! :)

So where exactly is this cheap pet food shop in JB?
