The new Frank Card by OCBC... any good?

I applied for mine at the branch at Vivo and got the card in less than 2 weeks

I applied mine online and got within 2 weeks. I think only those who applied in Sep and Oct are affected by this? I got no problems with mine except its not as fast as SCB, Citibank, UOB, DBS etc.

My frank card finally arrived.

Apply online in 4 Oct --> received approval sms in 7 Oct -->received SMS reminder to activate the card upon receive in 19 Oct --> received CC password through normal mail in 18 Oct --> Received card in 24 Oct and activated through sms ( need wait for 6 hours) -->Finally can use in 25 Oct….…my cheap flight ticket already fly away…..LOL

That's pretty fast. Perhaps because u sign up onsite? Those facing delay, did u sign up through their online portal? Mine was signed up via the website

Yes, via website I was waiting 4 weeks. This online card is not very friendly when it comes to online application processing.

I just got the Frank CC, how and when do I get the $25 AllDealsAsia Cash voucher?

From the ADA website conditions, it said "•You will receive your S$25 AllDealsAsia Cash Voucher if your credit card application is successful and after you have received your credit card. The Voucher Code will be sent to you by FRANK OCBC Bank via email and SMS. "

I have not received any sms nor email.

Why not just share with us on this thread how FRANK charge the 2.8% when we pay in USD? I am sure lots of bros here buy stuff from US sites like Amazon. Everyone will be keen to know.

Hi there. The fees are:

1. 1.0% currency conversion fee
2. 1.8% administrative fee

You may like to know that for VISA/MasterCard transactions, currencies(except for US Dollars and Singapore Dollars) will be converted to US Dollars first, and then to Singapore Dollars. The exchange rates will be determined by VISA/MasterCard based on the dates of the transactions.

My timeline almost same as yours. Finally got mine, today as I was away, should be 25th Oct in letter box.

Now is it we have to spend $800 online within 1st month to redeem the luggage?

During the wait for the Frank card, I had received a call from OCBC to sign up for a bundle of cards which include the Titanium card + Easi Credit on top of the Frank card. If sign up for this bundle, will be able to receive a luggage upon using the Titanium + Frank card within the first mth.
If manage to clock 800 for the Frank card within the first mth, the luggage will be given too.
So can receive a total of 2 luggages.

Anyone else receive this info too?

Just received the frank card! Immediately used it on $1000 CPF topup.... Hopefully can qualify for 6% for mth of Oct.... If got luggage bag is bonus!!
