Well first of all how do you define a gaming pc? If it consists of gtx 780 ti and i7 CPU then your budget is sorely insufficient.

Do take note that in a strictly gaming system, the CPU and gpu are the ones that costs more than the other components.

Roy dont think it need > 500W, some more a 80+ gold version PSU. Whole rig would be pulling max 400w under peak.
