does this mean the reboot plague also affect AC68U users on star hub ?

ASUS SG is just saying by disabling hardware accelerator as an interim solution, he is not referring that the ASUS AC68U routers are also plagued by this reboot issue.

We are not make aware that ASUS RT-AC68U users using StarHub Fiber are facing these but isn't it better to for you to post your queries over @ the StarHub Fiber thread and have a feel how many are using ASUS routers are facing the reboot issue? If anyone? so far only you/Antiloop/Delusion84 are facing it.

1). Chercm ~ ASUS RT-AC66U - StarHub Fiber 300Mbps plan
2). AnTiLooP ~ ASUS RT-AC66U ~ StarHub Fiber 200 ~> 300Mbps (resolved?)
3). Delusion84 ~ ASUS RT-AC66U ~ StarHub MaxInfinity 200 mbps

Up for information.

Chrome browser updates has broken parts of the ASUS webgui resulting no display. Please use other browsers instead.

I've searched quite a bit here and couldn't find an answer to this.

I've got my RT-AC68U configured as an access point with a USB 3.0 drive attached with several movies on it. I set the drive as shared and I can see it in the Asus network map.

When I go to set it up in the FTP server menu I'm missing settings to name the FTP server + I can't add any users (the admin acct is listed though).

Does the RT-AC68U need to be in router mode for the media center to function?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

A recent Chrome update broke compatibility with part of the AiDisk webui. Use a different browser when editing users or folders.

Also, those functions usually only work while in router mode.

No. I upgraded from 100 mbps to 300mbps and that fixed my problem. Hw acc is required is you want to hit full speeds of the plan. I tested with acc turned off on 300 mbps and that slowed down my throughput considerably by 40%. That was just to test

Fw: .374_454
Here SH fibre, unable to surf net with HW accel on
So now HW accel = OFF. Speed still good reach my link max via wire. (200mbps)
My Galaxy note 3 - 5ghz - line of sight to 68u, can reach 180mbps(down) 160mbps(up).
