Nope, it doesn't. z2 uses IPS screen.

Pro - u get wider viewing angle

Con - less privacy, especially if you use in crowded area.

Pros: everything that you can find on website

Cons:
1)Camera heat up and shut down after 4k 5 mins (?)
2)Misalignment on top left and right panel
3)Alarm ring too softly
...what else?

still not able to get my hand on Z2, wanna know the worst to expect ...

What the new features added into Xperia Z2 and Android 4.4

Tap to Wake - Setting / Display / Tick Tap to Wake

4K Video or Timeshift Video App- On your camera / bottom left icon / now you can select those nicely introduction camera app all in one pages
4K Video - Allow you to record video at the fullest and sharper motion
Timeshift Video - Allow you to edit or slow down those action shoot or even just cut out that particular portion you wanna just fast forward

Messaging - You can add contact and even set your conversation wallpaper by just selecting the top right corner three horizontal tiny square box

Video player - Now you can pinch to zoom your video with the default Sony Movie player.

Notification - Was so irrating in the past. Now you go to setting / personalisation / Manage your notification

Restarting of phone - if you like Quickboot you can go to setting / Developer options / tick on enable quickboot mode

How to activate Developer Options?
Setting / About Phone / Click onto the build number until is prompt you (You are a developer)

hi guys. noticed that even if i turned on stamina mode. mobile data is not deactivated after screen lock out. im assuming it should be turned off once display is out but it's still there though it may not be sending/receving data. can any1 advice?

in z2, there's a allow list for you to select apps to continue receive data after locked screen, useful for chat apps like whatsapp.

i just compared how my samsung works before with juicedefender. when i turn on the screen, the data is off and goes on only after a few seconds. but with z2 i turn on screen but can see lte notice. just worried it drains power while on standby

I think its just the connection. There should be no background datab during Sony's stamina mode.

I tested it on my z1. If I don't add whatsapp on allow list, even others msg me, I won't receive it until I wake the screen.

Maybe you can test it out yourself, for reassurance.

Just got unlucky, my handset got mic issues. Already brought it to Sony center for exchange. They told me 2 to 3 days wait for this 1-to-1 exchange. Though I doubt it, I think it will be a long wait LoL.
