i have Xposed TempCPU on my Z, usual normal temp is 37degrees to 39degrees.
only time it has went below 30degrees is i slept with aircon on and i wake up in the morning

75 fahrenheit? Got phone can reach 75 celsius?
No, 75 degrees Celsius. I double checked my CPU temperature with System Tuner on that phone. The back of the phone has a protruding camera as well, and it's metal. When I touch it at those times, I can feel how hot it is.

i not really using my z2 yet

but 3mins of simple usage(means no flash no playing game) quickly raise temp to 34 is considered on the higher side when compared to other android phone i use

i suppose the no ventilation theory makes a lot of sense for the slightly raise temp for all activity across the board

let me tell u why it feels hotter.

1. Waterproof phone with sealing all around. Heat dissemination is definitely lower that conventional phones since there's lower level of ventilation

2. Glass back is a conductor of heat, hence u feel it more than those plastics.

i din noe that the z2 back is made of glass leh? i tot is plastic? lol

34 degrees is fine.
My Z normal operating temp as i stated about is about 35 to 39, screen on with just scrolling of menu, settings, whatsapp etc with no intensive activity

another observation of mine, not sure why:
Whatapp messages and emails that come in via auto push do not show if my phone is in lock screen inactive condition. only after I unlocked the phone, msg and notification starts to pop up. Looking at the timing indicated, those replies were sent sometimes ago...how ahh
