their hairs are not super shiny, but rather more towards a natural lofty kind of texture

I doubt they're using pomade, esp the last one. Maybe Beckham is, but the rest.... Looks kinda off for pomade.

Like u, I have not extensively tried pomades, only seen many vids and articles and reviews. One of the most comprehensive resources for this would have to be the_pomp, who you should definitely check out if u wanna know more. Shoeshine uncle, the only frequent visitor here that actually uses pomades on a daily basis, doesn't seem to frequent this thread anymore

Can is can but you would have to search for a really good barber. Most barbers I've tried are usually the older ones so it might not be as good although the current trend is old school now.

Pompadour doesn't mean pomade by any stretch of the word.

It might sound like snake oil but u should give Hergen Anti Hair Loss Lotion a try. It will be able to help you. I brought in a few of these for people who are having hair loss problems. Hope it helps.

First of all, if you are using pomade, shine is something that you need. If u dont need shine, you shdnt be looking at pomade. It is ironical to look at pomade yet u want low shine. Second, the pics are just pics. U cant really get to see the shine very visibly, period. Third, it seems that you want something that gives you the texture instead. So my qn is to you is why are you insistent on pomade? Try looking in a different direction. For eg, texturizing clay or molding paste will help you on this. Look for Gold Digger. It will suit your needs.

They are call natural shine. It's their hair color. None of them are using pomade here. Pomade is supposed to give a very sleek with less than or no volume like you see in the pictures. Lol. Probably using some wax or paste. But for us to have this, we definitely need volumizers such as sea salt spray..

today hair abit dry. lol. always tend to slight over dry my hair which is no good. very crispy looking. somehow replicating the quiff style. btw the brush which i got is awesome!
