Why everyone having the slick back hairstyle nowadays. Really doesn't suit Asians in my honest opinion.

Our features ain't as define as those westerners.

Honestly I prefer the Asian look anyday. I wouldn't say their features are defined, rather more of jagged and jutting lol

I've got a problem not sure whether it's been answered before.
Been using Giovanni tea tree for some time (think beauty lang dun carry them anymore). Just went for hair cut and my stylist said I have v oily scalp. It's becoming oily dandruff alr which is quite bad.
Any bros here have a really good shampoo to rec for this problem, or somewhere I can so cheap treatment? My salon's treatment is like 125 per session dun think I can afford to do that often srsly but wanna improve the condition before I seriously start to drop hair...

You have to understand stylist will always tell you this and that and get you to buy their products/treatments (not all tho), understandable considering they have quota to hit also, sometimes you have to take their comments with a pinch of salt.

Usually their products/services are heavily marked up too, some treatments are a tad gimmicky too imho.

Not familiar with dandruff issue but I have oily scalp too with occasional outbreak, I'm using paul mitchell tea tree shampoo now and it's pretty decent, just remember to condition every now and then because such shampoo can be quite drying.

For treatment you can purchase off the shelves and apply yourself.

On the topic of oily hair, I discovered that quicksand works super great on oily hair. I got my hair all oily yesterday and I used a bit of qs. The hold was insane. Those with oily hair issues and check it out. It claims to absorb oil too

I have quicksand too. Somehow it looks oily on my hand though so I tot it's oily haha. I always like to use it before using wax. By itself the hold is quite bad though

I also understand that he is prob trying to sell me the service/product. But I must say I have to agree I do have oily scalp and wanna do something abt it to unblock the hair glands caused by it. Trying to see if I can do other things rather than the Exp treatment whenever possible. Maybe I will try the Paul mitchell one u less there's other recommended options here...
To b far more than one stylist has warned me off conditioner cos they say will make it even oilier. Not sure. And I have v v fine hair. So fine that I kinda hate it, makes my hair looks even thinner. Not sure is it cos bad hair growth due to blockage or wat...

Hold on my clean hair is like nonexistent. But when my hair was oily as hell it held like a monster. I have no idea why. But I had a pompish thing going and I could bend down a tie my laces. With no other product could I do that

when u guys cut hair, u leave it to the stylist? lol.. or u tell them what u want?

i normally sit down n let them decide what it suits me. if they wanna try something, they will ask, i say ok. or no. if not i just sit there n they do their job ~

for me its two way. i tell him what i want and he tell me if feasible or not. most of the time i give him quite a lot of "instructions" and he just goes with it. only like twice did he warn me of issues with my hair type and structure and ask me to reconsider my plans

Salon Vim at 313? If so, any stylist you would recommend? Thinking of switching to them. :)
