Thats because she always see me in my room trying to on off my pc and do testing.

She won't need a i3 for her usage . A simple dual core for her Microsoft office is more than enough.

Pair it up with a ssd is already more than enough for her .

Lastly not enough horsepower? No problem. G3258 can oc up to 4.5ghz . Turn it from a hamster to a savage rat.

Now ASRock H81 also supports K overclocking? So far i only know of ASUS allowing that for all their Haswell motherboards.

He also has the point of getting Core i3. It will cost as much as getting the G3258 and a separate 3rd-party cooler, while providing similar performance and no need for overclock, raising the temps of both CPU and VRMs, plus a faster HD 4400 IGP.

Yes it does overclock, and it is not limited to Asus only.

All the 4 major brands does have h81 on oc.

What motherboards have Non-Z overclocking enabled for Pentium 3258? - AnandTech Forums

You don't really need a 3rd party cooler bro. Its dual core. An intel heatsink is enough to do a modest oc up to 4.2~4.3ghz and temps doesn't even hit 78deg or more.

Not unless you wanna bump even higher then yes you will need a 3rd party heatsink.
At 4.2ghz the loaded vcore is only around 1.180v. May be lesser if there is a better chip.

And furthermore she is just using for Microsoft office. In fact can even settle Celeron for her if it is at tradepac.

Hack the igpu lah lol. Not using for movies also. The most is youtube nia.
