Hi

My current rig is as below, if I only want to change the gpu,
What gpu should I look at? Prefer a more up to date gpu so that i can slowly upgrade the rest of the parts too...

Uses for the PC include watching video, slight photo editing and last playing mostly mmorpg, no fps games...

AMD P2 X3 720
Biostar 790gx 128m
Palit 4850 512mb
2 x 2gb kvr
3tb + 125mb ssd
Samsumg 2233sw
seasonic m12ii 620w
Win 7 Home Premium 64 Bit

GTX 750TI, 1.5 times better than your HD4850 and consume alot less power.

Depends on your budget.

so with a budget of 400, the highest i should aim for is a GTX750TI?

What mmo games are you playing anyway?
You might want to consider changing your processor and mobo as well if your budget can handle(or in the near future). I'm guessing you're on ddr2 rams? have to change those too if you're gonna overhaul. That triple core chip is a relic and will definitely bottleneck by quite a margin..

Yeah mate u might really want to consider changing them then. Here's some scores on processor scaling for elder scrolls online:

CPU-FR.png

Elder Scrolls Online performance

Granted this is in ultra high settings and on a radeon 270, which is faster than the 750ti(about 10+fps difference on most titles). But this is a pretty decent estimate on how well a processor would affect your gaming experience.
