Anker 40w wall charger - can change the usa 2 pin to our UK standard 3 pin plug?

dont think its really related to iphone except that im gonna be using it to charge my iphones and ipads..

was thinking of getting this, but the 2 pin is abit of a turn off, so wondering if any of u bros here managed to try go sim lim tower or something to find a replacement cable, that allow us to plug in the 3pin plug directly instead of having to go through a adapter?

my bed is pushed against the wall, with only a small allowance left, wont be able to do the adapter + the 2 pin on top, if not it wont be a issue for me.

Of course no issue. I changed from a flat 2pin to a round 2 pin. Why? Because I was lazy to go sim lim, I use the cable that charge my dslr.

Depends on where you buy it. Flat 2 pin is from Amazon or US sites. Local 3 pin is from local seller.

Anker 40w 5 port USB should be 2 flat pin. I do not think there any 3pin one.

You can change the cable to any 3pin as long can connect to the USB hub connector and you can get hold of one.I change mine to a 2 pin round type using cable from my old adapter.
Fyi performance will be affect or not this I'm not sure as i never monitor but it get all mine devices charged up quite effectively.

You can get the 3pin ones from Unicell level 2. I bought them for my Ankers.

I bought the shorter (40cm) version as I carry one around and leave another Anker at home.

You can see the OEM cable I got from unicell in the pic. Its a 3pin. I used it in UK also, works fine.

Yes. I couldn't think of anywhere else more suitable than SLS to get such cables, perhaps SLT, but parking's a chore at SLT. So I prefer SLS. Just avoid HJ Mobile Air

The box is also different in size, 2nd gen has a bigger rectangular box. 3rd gen has a more squarish smaller box.

I average about S$38 per shipment excluding the 3 pin cables via vPost from Amazon for friends. My entire household each has at least 1 Anker, with the exception of me, having 2.

Ordered a lot for friends as they found it useful and good. So far so good, no complains for the price
