Dear all,

There has been a cable fault on the Sea-Me-We 4 undersea cable in a subsea section which will cause slower access to some Freedom VPN - UK sites but as VQ has a diverse range of upstream providers and international links, general access to UK/EU should not be adversely affected.

The supplier has mobilized a ship to repair the cable however ETR depends on weather conditions.

That said, connectivity should be seamlessly re-routed and if you experience performance issues you can always send a route optimization request to NOC and where possible we can optimize it.

Hi, check one-time charges over at the signup forms ViewQwest Pte Ltd for the plan u wish to sign up.

Home voice is now available for $3.95/mth if i not wrong. (for new recontract customers. if you had voice bundle free previously it remains free.)

As for porting number from MR i leave it to Nic or monkey. ;)

eh nope. its like u buy altis, den toyota give u camry .impossible right.

well, I was old 300 and got auto upgraded to 600.

They will upgrade you based on what plans they have now.

So if you took the $65 plan, which is 600 now, and in the future, the $65 plan becomes an 800mbps connection, then the older 600 customers will automatically get upgraded to 800.

So, in this case, it's like renting (not buying) an altis, but when the plan upgrades to a camry, you can go back and change for a camry :s22:

this mbps race is pointless really. most families hardly use 100mbps. but whatever you know? i guess this is when the collective ignorance of the people is actually beneficial

as a smaller RSP it isn't cost effective for us to support number porting presently. However as our subscriber base (slowly) grows this isn't set in stone of course

Any1 had heat issues with zhone router? Mine is inside the DB closet and I feel the top surface with my hand is hot!!

Is it normal for the router to be so hot? I on it for 24/7 non-stop bcoz of my ip cams.

Yes the Zhone 2426 does let out quite a bit of heat however it generally can last at least 2-3 years so I wouldn't worry about it.

Anyway if it does start to act up, just let us know (call tech support) and it's possible to arrange an on-site to replace it 1-1.
