They look gorgeous. Darn, I do not think there are any of these makeshift fruit stalls near my place. But I am content as I did a lot of fruitful (sorry for the pun) grocery shopping this week.:)

Oh, the ladies mentioned that you have good recommendations for sriracha sauces?

I always find avocados very hard to keep. They either not ripe or overripe and become hard like rocks.

However avocados are very good to go with protein shakes. I had avocado protein blends for a while every night and my weight was easier to manage than usual.

After all several batches, what I learn is that I should not keep them in the fridge before they ripen or else they will never ripen. I guess leaving them out in the open will help them ripen.

I find that here in Singapore, the way to ripen avocadoes appears to be to leave them in the bag on the counter till they ripen, then you can keep them in the fridge. As eddy2099sg says, they just do not ripen in the fridge.

I love my ice avocad so I tend to make them like a dessert with my avocado blended with milk (or coconut milk if I am being very naughty), chilling for a little while & then drizzling thick gula melaka syrup over it. Yummers!

Now I really wish my camera works because I just made black & blue flank steak with cold noodles! I even decorated the slices of steak like a lotus flower on top of the noodles! :( OK, saving for the new mobile phone ... focus ... focus ...

Sorry to hear your Mac is down. Fair warning that the Wheelock Place centre will charge you $70 just to diagnose the problem. At least they did the last time I went. I finally went to a little shop in Sim Lim on the top floor near the escalator (sorry I forgot their name but it's got Apple something in the name) & got it sorted. Good luck!

Looks yummy! I love chewy cookies. No flour at all? Hmmm, I was going to have the last Tong Heng egg tart for dessert but now I am tempted to make something. LOL, I am so easy to influence.

Nam Feng Tangerines

I finally succumbed and bought the Nam Feng tangerines from Sheng Siong. Partly because they are so small & cute & only $1.89 for 400g. I gingerly tried one after dinner & it was rather sweet! The membrane is rather tough though so I am thinking they will not be as good for a salad. Still a good snack.:)

forget.

i brough the machine direct from itay itself so it sgd$760 including gst, shipping, etcc but i round up to $800 so it easy for me to calculate.

i have the machine for 1yr plus, but i make it to 1 yr , and so $800 for 365days is around $2.15 per days

if you want to add my pharos it already paid for myself as i got that pharos when i do french press for 2 year and use it for 1 yr plus the machine for another 1 yr.

i can said i already break even....

I tried with just 2 ingredients - bananas and oats. Looks cookie-like but kinda chewy. Didn't taste fantastic either. I also tried with orange juice and oats only. This one is even more chewy and not nice... because that orange I squeezed from happened to be sour lol. :s13:

Be prepared to shell out good money. Fixing anything apple will be at a premium. If you need to change any parts, it will be more expensive too.

Just my guess. No secret that I am anti-apple... just because "everyone" is pro-apple LOL.
