Thanks for chipping in! I had used the 1WAN wizard in 1.6. Will test it when VQ is done later this week

Download the template and open up the config file to use as reference which I think will help guide you along in your journey with EdgeOS. ;)

1) If don't want spend so much on Cloud Core Router 1009-8G-1S, can use Cloud Router Switch 125-24G-1S-RM as replacement for home use?

2) Is VQ using transparent proxy?

The issue has been narrowed down to an issue with a transit provider blocking routing from VQ.

An angry email was sent and hopefully the issue is solved today.

And also now I want to buy destiny @.@

Thanks for the information! Heard from one of my friends that he has managed to log in to Destiny earlier today. I'll try after work and revert.

Will gladly pay the VQ price premium over other ISPs for the table banging value added service :s13:

THIS! THIS RIGHT HERE!

This is the reason why I SWEAR by ViewQwest! I mean, I haven't been able to check my connection to Destiny yet but the fact that you guys care! Man, that's like real, tangible value-add, right there!

Apologies for my numerous emails to your tech-team on this - I was getting impatient, lol.

Thanks guys! 110%, every single time!

Oh, and Andr3w, it's worth checking out if you have a PS3/4 or X360/Xbone. DLC happening next Tuesday (The Dark Below). It's more FPS with some RPG and MMO components (like 70/20/10).

So, if my MR contract ends on 02 Mar 2015, I would need to call them up beforehand to let them know that i want to terminate and let VQ do FTO. Then, VQ and MR will work internally to do so?

Understand that internet will be down for a while.

As long as MR does not reject the FTO it will be seamless.

Only issue is that the actual date and time of the fiber patching for FTO is unpredictable :)

How long is the "a while" depends on how long NLT patches their backend for FTO.

Sony PlayStation 4, can double up as bluray player. Game up to you to select.

Hardware | PlayStation®4 | PlayStation.com (Asia) - Singapore

Alternative will be Wii for more family oriented fun.

For Casual Gaming , Nintendo will always be the best choice. Suggest you to get a Wii U. Which is cheaper than the PS4 and XBONE while having a unique library of multiplayer games like Super smash bros/Mario Kart 8/ Super Mario 3D LAND.

FPS - Xbox 360/XBOne
RPG/Adventure - PS3/PS4
Family Ent - Wii U

Best Bluray player - PS3/PS4 (better than most other standalone Bluray players as well).

Some quick run on 3.0.0.4.378.3123 firmware.

Nothing out of the norm, It's rock solid wired @ symmetrical 1Gbps. If anyone still wondering it's capabilities, please check your ISP first lol

One observation tho, there is a latency spike when upload @ 1Gbps speed, hmm nothing of a serious nature, how many are @ 1Gbps upload? ;) Nevertheless i will feedback to ASUS firmware RD accordingly maybe it's a bug from Broadcom SDK7.

So if anyone still think i only post all so nice things about ASUS routers and none no so nice. it's all due to all these are done behind the scenes with ASUS SG/TW to resolve all these nitty bugs.

@maylyn: With so many variants like asus original, tomato, ddwrt, merlin, etc. which one is the most stable and yet gives rich working feature set on the AC87U?

I would prefer Merlin's firmware over the rest :D
