Summary:

Unemployed Singaporean man, suffers from a heart condition. He begs CPF to let him use his own money for medical treatment.

Its so heart-breaking indeed.

Dr Lim Tiong Keng is a Consultant with the Department of Cardiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore. His sub-specialty interests are in cardiac MRI and echocardiography.

Dr Lim graduated from the United Medical & Dental School of Guy's & St Thomas' Hospitals, London, in 1998 and received his post-graduate cardiology training at the major teaching hospitals in London, Leicester and Dundee. He was awarded the Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of London in 2010 after completion of his research work with Professor Roxy Senior at the North West London NHS Trust. He has triple accreditation in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography awarded by the British Society of Echocardiography and European Association of Echocardiography. He completed the Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) training in Royal Brompton Hospital, London, and Glenfield Heart Centre, Leicester, UK.

This is bullsh!t. If he has got no money to pay, the hospital can help him with some arrangements to make payment, perhaps even using CPF.

I think is BS. Look at the Words used. How can he be at NHC for investigation?
