Either matte or low shine will do fine for you. Pomade is definitely out as the weight will definitely not allow you to achieve this style.
Your hairlength isn't very long so prestylers would have limited room for performance, to be honest. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't get too. It depends on what is the average hair length that you are keeping. If it's gonna be longer than what you shown, then prestyler is possible too, as it really helps to bunch up the hair to aid subsequent styling and volumizing. What i would recommend is to get one which is lightweight, strong hold. Examples for your consideration will be Gold Digger, PP Clay, EBL Taste Clay. But note that there is no one perfect product that wins all. There will be tradeoffs. Below states my personal opinions for consideration:
1. GD: Strong hold, easy to wash off, easy to apply. But heavy. It might flop somewhere through the day. Solutions to consider can be to complement it with a hairspray or use an approximately right amount to hit what you want.
2. PP Clay: Strong hold, easy to wash off but slightly harder to apply as it is dry texture clay. Comes with slight shine.
3. EBL Taste Clay: Strong hold, creamy texture which allows easier application but slightly harder to wash off.
