So i am not the only one to not get any point for posting. Previous contest also the same, must be some limit or bug in awarding point. I searched the posts of some the forumers, they are able to get 43 points daily with just one to two posts. :s8:

Actually i think it has more to do with keywords? If you go to LG's website for the G FLex 2 and just use all the marketing keywords they use in an entire post here , probably can hit a lot of keywords also. But it's not the way to drive a forum discussion if everyone just does that. I mean you can't expect everyone to discuss everything about the phone in every post they do.

anyway...

#WhyCurveWrongWay #HotCurves
LOL.

Edit: I got 10 points for this post for whatever reason. 2 keywords? I think i already hit my normal posts (3 points) limit. so not getting points for those anymore. With this i probably hit all the keywords I can today. LOLOL.

I am also not sure will continue to the end. Need to make appointment for redemption and only on weekdays, need to take leave. Not sure will there be interview or photo taking session.

Not sure why i am not awarded point for posting so many times today.

nothing wrong with interview or photo taking session. each day at certain time will get points for each post. once you hit quota then have to wait for next day for the quota to reset.

GSMArena said that it offers great build quality, unique curved design, nice handling.

The back features improved self-healing coating that will recover quickly from the occasional small scratches though deeper scratches will stay, but the coating itself looks like a see-through sticker and you can notice where it ends around the edges of the device

The P-OLED screen is amazing and looks great from any angle. It is bright, with best in-class contrast and sunlight legibility.

Android Lollipop with Optimus UI is fluid and responsive, with great features such as dual-window, QRemote, QVoice

The Snapdragon 810 chipset offered great benchmark performance on first runs after the phone's allowed to cool down; LG has agreed they use an aggressive CPU throttling setting, which potentially could be lifted once they iron out the software. Even at this stage it is as fast as the Snapdragon 805, but offers faster multi-core CPU performance and better GPU scores thanks to the new Adreno 430.

Camera performance is very good, with sharp and detailed images, great dynamic range and controlled amounts of noise. Built-in HDR mode rivals Samsung's for the top of the class leading. Image quality however is not as good as on the LG G3 even though the two cameras look identical on paper.

Galaxy Round looks more like warped phone than curved. :s22:

#whyedgehalfway no longer valid, ever since the Galaxy S6.

#hotcurves still count , esp the bright red colour ...

Actually quite stupid also... it means if you join the contest on the second day, or first day u never hit 43 points, you can't top the chart liao...

And it seems like sometimes the points get stuck in a queue or something. Like one shot I can get 20 pts, whereas sometimes I post no points one.

#hotcurves but why points anyhow assign? Haha.

Anyway, some topic for discussion

- How does Laser Autofocus compare to Focus Pixels & Phase Detection AF? PDAF is supposed to be almost instantaneous under normal conditions but my S6 takes quite long to acquire focus sometimes

- How much value-add do you think the Knock Code adds to the phone? With my S6, I'm so tempted to knock it on but I still have to use the power button... so not convenient when it's located at the side.

- #whyedgehalfway? Because when you edge halfway you can use the phone properly flat on the table. With the #hotcurves, will the phone keep shaking about on a flat surface?

Knock code is less awesome than knock on. The accuracy of the quadrant detection can be a little hit and miss. Prefer to double knock to on then swipe to unlock.

Now with lollipop, as long as it detecs my mi band , it skips the lockscreen passwoed

The LG Flex 2 gives and provides an ergonomic hold on the phone which should sit pretty comfortably on your palm. Together with its large crisp 5.5" screen that sports a 1080p resolution and coupled with 2GB or 3GB ram, 16gb or 32GB of internal memory respectively, it has pretty much everything that an average user needs to run his stuff daily on a phone.

Including the of up to 128gb microsd for expandable memory (well, funny because 200gb is now out), you can carry all your memories together

Why the twin model with 3GB ram and 32gb internal memory or 2GB ram and 16GB internal memory might be puzzling but probably costs?

It will be running on the latest Android OS - Lollipop
POLED in Full HD 1080p screen, resulting in a resolution of 403ppi.
The screen is protected by Dura-Guard Gorilla Glass 3
With the heart powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 quad-core processor running 2Ghz, it also supports native 64bit processing
OIS+ on the 13 MP (megapixel) camera for the back (rear) with 4K high-resolution video recording and 2.1 megapixel at the front, it offers something new that others do not support - using laser to do auto focus

Battery is rated at 3000mAh...

The self healing back of the LG G flex2 is interesting because it will help maintain the "pristine" of the device from daily wear and tear, so will the resell value be higher?

i have 3GB per month only, but sufficient for my use actually. haha. Home and work both got Wifi, so only use when i'm out. But true about the transferring of files. But USB OTG thumb drives are pretty common too these days. For me I use google drive to transfer files most of the time. For like music i use Android File Transfer.

But if you back up alot of photos and videos OTA..... cloud may have storage but your bandwidth.... (without WIFI)

How many prizes are there to begin with anyway?

#hotcurves is available in Platinum Silver and Flamenco Red

From the website:
With no side buttons interrupting its design, the curved form factor of the G Flex2 is both easy to hold and intuitive to operate.

The uniquely curved 5.5 Full HD Display delivers more immersive and lifelike viewing experience. The curved display phone creates optimal viewing angles to minimize glare and reflections.

Always look your best with instant Self Healing Technology that naturally fixes scratches and blemishes to help your G Flex2 maintain its timeless look.

Capture photographer quality shots with LG’s superior OIS+ that steadies every shot for sharp focused images. And with Touch & Shoot you can touch anywhere on the screen to capture stunning images in an instant.

GESTURE SHOT & GESTURE VIEW

- No more stretching out your arm and struggling to press the shutter button. Take a better selfie without pushing any buttons by making a simple hand gesture.

- Instantly see your latest selfie creation as the Gesture View feature opens your photo gallery as soon as you lower your G Flex2 camera from position

Find the power you demand to multitask at blazing speeds with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with (integrated) 64-bit Octa-Core CPU and today’s latest Android OS.

Spend less time charging and more time doing what you love with accelerated charging that refuels 50% of the battery in about 30 minutes.

Conserve battery power and time with Glance View. Check the time and other notifications while the screen is off simply by dragging down on any part of the screen.

Check out the smartphone options offer a wide range of features, such as 3D technology, Wi-Fi Hotspot, IPS displays and more.

Not sure if there is bug anot? Maybe haha. No contest is 100% fair imo. :o

True to your points. I also join in for fun. Can hit jackpot then happy, don't have also ok. But I really like LG now because my loved one is going to get one soon lol! :s13: We played with the camera feature on G3 using hand gesture and it's funny :s13:

S6 takes long to auto focus? I hope someone with G Flex 2 users can come in to comment, as this will be a good reference to G4 too.

- How much value-add do you think the Knock Code adds to the phone? With my S6, I'm so tempted to knock it on but I still have to use the power button... so not convenient when it's located at the side.
Isn't knock code cool? I play it on my friend's G3 and it's very interesting. Now Z3 has the double tap to wake and sleep the phone up.

Curve so that the ears are nearer when speaking and less muffle noise
