I think no problem since the phone can take more than 100KG let alone 25KG.

Good experimental ground for hardwarezone mobile to test the limit. :o

actually depends also. back button if want put cover will have a hole in the middle.. may not appeal to some

Mmm would you put cover or use the phone naked in this case?

From same review on self healing back:

I’ve had the phone in my pocket or bag for about a month, and the back panel has picked up a couple of deeper scratches that go beyond the self-healing coating, meaning they haven’t filled in. Worse, one scratch has turned into a scar, where the covering around it has started to peel away. It’s not pretty, and it’s almost like there’s an annoying sticky plastic covering that’s not been removed from the back. It makes me wish I’d stored the phone in a case.

This proves that self-healing though the G Flex2’s rear panel may be, it’s far from indestructible. We’d recommend being just as careful with the phone as you would any other expensive device.

Maybe leather back is still better than LG G Flex2's self healing bendy back?

When plastic gets scratches and marks, it's called damage. When leather gets scratches and marks, it's called character. :s13:

I guess the curve battery no easy to buy from outside, no point replacing our own battery `

actually when there is a market for it, should be able to find. eBay already can find tonnes of phone parts

Finally found a review with more details on #LGHOTCURVES.

Seriously all along my impression is for aesthetic reason only.

http://www.digitaltrends.com/cell-phone-reviews/lg-g-flex2-review/

Is it only there for aesthetic reasons? Initially, I didn’t expect it to be anything other than a gimmick, but I was very wrong. The curved screen makes the phone tougher than those with flat screens, and it’s better equipped at absorbing shocks. It also places the microphone closer to your mouth; LG says voice calls are several decibels louder on a G Flex2 — and sure enough, everyone commented on how clear my voice was on the phone.

The real surprise came when using the phone each day. The G Flex2 may not be as massive as its predecessor, but it’s still big. The screen measures 5.5 inches, and the body is slightly larger than the LG G3. Yet the curved display made it easier to stretch a thumb across it, and the device is considerably more comfortable to hold and use with one hand than the G3. The curved screen made sense, something I didn’t really expect.

The surprises didn’t stop there either. Curved TV screens are supposed to offer a more immersive viewing experience, but I didn’t think that would translate down to something with a screen a tenth of the size of these impressive televisions. Here’s the shocker: it does. While watching streaming video, it did have a different feel to it. I’m not sure I’d call it immersive exactly, but it was definitely more cinematic. It made me want to go out and buy a curved TV.

Flat screen phones felt and looked old, boring, and a bit cumbersome after using the G Flex2 for a few days.

LG G Flex 2 really that rugged?

This LG logo gif very cute! :s13:

it was mentioned in some reviews that it is faster to pinpoint its target.

Hopefully it does what it promises, or I will be very disappointed..

And the POLED raves too. :o

LG G Flex have these features:

Curved and flexible P-OLED screen
Gorilla Glass 3 with Dura Guard coating
Self-healing backing
Camera Laser focus and OIS+
Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 with Adreno 430

iirc LG's bendy phone graphics processor better than samsung s6's processor
OIS+ and normal OIS got what diff?

faster processor will have genreate higher heat output.....must think how to dissipate the heat out.........:(:(

People hand holding the phone is acting as liquid cooling heat sink. Blood in the hand absorb the heat and got pump away. :s13:

The LG G Flex 2 uses micro SIM slot.

Can try to use nano so micro converter.

Nano still limited to iphone and Nokia for the time being.

Most news phones are using Nano sim already actually. Apple (since iPhone 5), Nokia (since Lumia 1520?), HTC (Since One M8), Motorola (since 1st gen Moto X), Samsung (S6), Sony (since Z3?)...

Z3 still using micro SIM. Z4 using nano.

Actually, just go nano and if required add the adaptor for micro or mini SIM to use depending on the phone.

Nano-sim

But yeah, better to just go nano and use adaptors if needed. Just makes sure the sim card is secure in the adaptor before inserting it. What i normally do is a bit of double-sided tape to make sure the SIM card stays in place. If the sim card drops out when you push the adaptor in, the adaptor could get stuck.

use adapter risky leh, especially with those phone using sim tray like iphone

Depend on the adaptor you used.

Those soft plastic type, avoid at all cost.

Those provided by Singtel for example are quite good.

LOL..gsmarena info not accurate.

Ya, use double side tape but need to make sure is the thin type.
