Depend on the adaptor you used.

Those soft plastic type, avoid at all cost.

Those provided by Singtel for example are quite good.

so far the best i tried i think is noosy brand or smth
plastic quite solid and got double sided tape to hold the sim to the adapter.

Where can you get Plastic OLED?
Where can you get curved display?
Where can you get Laser guided focus + OIS+ camera?
Where can you get Gesture Shot and View for your front camera?
Where can you get back cover with self-healing property?
Where can you get latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 with Android Lollipop?

You can only get all with LG G Flex 2. ;)

LOL..gsmarena info not accurate.

Ya, use double side tape but need to make sure is the thin type.

Yeah, haha. I kena once before on the BlackBerry Torch 9810. Sim card fell out of adaptor and adaptor got stuck. Had to use a thin piece of plastic to slide between the card and the contact pins and then slowly slide the adaptor out. I've seen people who are too kan chiong and go and yank it out. End up breaking the sim reader on their brand new phone. :s13::s13::s13:

The Sim tray type have to be even more careful. lol.

So yeah, better be safe and use double sided tape for those Noosy cheap type. Or nowadays i think when telco give you sim cards it comes with various sizes that you can "tear" out. Those can be used as adaptors too, and like you said, those are pretty solid and has a good fit.

Finally found a review with more details on #LGHOTCURVES.

Seriously all along my impression is for aesthetic reason only.

http://www.digitaltrends.com/cell-phone-reviews/lg-g-flex2-review/

Is it only there for aesthetic reasons? Initially, I didn’t expect it to be anything other than a gimmick, but I was very wrong. The curved screen makes the phone tougher than those with flat screens, and it’s better equipped at absorbing shocks. It also places the microphone closer to your mouth; LG says voice calls are several decibels louder on a G Flex2 — and sure enough, everyone commented on how clear my voice was on the phone.

The real surprise came when using the phone each day. The G Flex2 may not be as massive as its predecessor, but it’s still big. The screen measures 5.5 inches, and the body is slightly larger than the LG G3. Yet the curved display made it easier to stretch a thumb across it, and the device is considerably more comfortable to hold and use with one hand than the G3. The curved screen made sense, something I didn’t really expect.

The surprises didn’t stop there either. Curved TV screens are supposed to offer a more immersive viewing experience, but I didn’t think that would translate down to something with a screen a tenth of the size of these impressive televisions. Here’s the shocker: it does. While watching streaming video, it did have a different feel to it. I’m not sure I’d call it immersive exactly, but it was definitely more cinematic. It made me want to go out and buy a curved TV.

Flat screen phones felt and looked old, boring, and a bit cumbersome after using the G Flex2 for a few days.

The #hotcurves gives a greater depth of field on the #LGGFlex2.

When the phone is used horizontally to watch movie, it gives a more 3D effect than a flat screen.

On a Samsung curved TV for example, when you turn your head to look at the screen from left to right, the distance from your eyes to that part of the screen is same distance too. Your eyes less tried as no need to refocus like when you are using a flat screen.

Why they so kan chiong lol. Traditional put and clip or insert in directly are the best. Sim tray is the worst design, panicky when outside or forgotten to bring a pin overseas to change sim card. :s22:

G Flex 2 cannot be sim tray right?

Anyone in camera can advise what this OIS+ is about? Good?
Never really take camera as a factor for buying phone.

The OIS+ is optical image stabilisation lo.

It compensate for hand shake when taking photo up to a certain degree.

Shake too much got OIS+ also no use...hehe

Just realised LG is giving free tempered glass screen protector for LG G Flex2, so the tempered glass protector is also curved, bendable? :s22:

Good question. Need hardwarezone team to test it out since we don't have a sample on hand. :p

Suspect got use Adblock that's why he cannot see.

I use different broswers at times, so today I can't see it :D

Oh I see, I thot y you never said look to right.

Anyway based on those pasting glass protector on screen with curved edges note4, nexus6 including my own experience with droid turbo, there will be halo effects on the edges. Thus I am very curious how the tempered glass looked pasted on curved screen for flex2.. so good that no bubbles?
