opps, I think the LG G Flex 2 FLEXIBLE curved P-OLED screen was not as durable as thought, 50 kg pressure withstanding the front screen may break, and this was just a drop test~

don't think the phone was designed to withstand drops from height. the flexible curved P-OLED screen can bend all the way.

Exotic phones lovers will love these: FLEXIBLE curved P-OLED screen, Self-healing back cover, Laser autofocus + OIS+ camera, Gesture Shot and Gesture View for great selfies, Knock Code, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, Android Lollipop, 50 kg pressure withstanding.

True, I  exotic phones :o

i remembered someone said that LG G Flex2 can support up to 2TB of microsd card slot but over here the specs stated as much as 128GB.

"LG G Flex 2 sports a curved 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual LED flash, a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera with 1080p video recording capabilities, 16 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot (as much as 128 GB), a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz and four Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 2 GHz, an Adreno 430 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, and a 3,000 mAh battery."

After hearing a lot of good, here are some not so good reviews on LG G Flex 2 :o

My G Flex 2 impressions: falling short of expectations

All-in-all, I am sorely disappointed with the G Flex 2, and were it to be in a contest for “biggest disappointment of 2015″, it would be neck-and-neck with the HTC One M9 in my book. Granted some of my gripes might be of a far more personal level (the “small” size for example) and your own impressions may differ.

Regardless of my own personal points, this device has lost momentum at a momentous meter, in no small thanks to the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. Samsung has knocked the ball out of the park with the premium design factor, and meanwhile this plastic-plated piece comes across as being a pricey proposition.

LG G Flex 2 doesn’t just curve for the sake of being a curved phone. It can offer in more way than it does.

Most curved/edge phones out there offers you unprecedented ‘dent’ screens that bends and edge off in an axis that defies uniformity. But they are rigid and you can’t alter it. Once you bend it, you’ll break it. However, with LG G Flex 2, I can confidently - Flex and bend like Beckham - abuse and press the phone down flat since they are now flexible with Plastic substrate bonded to these OLED display modules, rather than glass-substrate used on other competing models. With plastic as bonding substrate, not only it breaks away from rigid glass nature, the overall OLED package also got much thinner (nearly but half) to a 0.5mm thin. The choice of OLED being Passive-Matrix also enables the display’s flexibility. Hence, this makes the phone exciting with the possibility to bend it like no other phones, other than its own ancestor LG G Flex. Oh – did I mention LG G Flex 2 also able to withstand about 50 kg of pressure?

LG G Flex 2 is also cleverly-designed to arc around a horizon that allows its own beloved screen to rise entirely above the ground, rough flat surface below it, to prevent any possible form of scratching that is prevalent on all other phones. With that, LG makes their screen 100% scratch-proof against surfaces unless you intentionally scratch it. Together with in-house DuraGuard reinforced coating on the curved strong Gorilla Glass 3, it further strengthens and minimizes the possibility of the phone suffering from any magnitude of scratch. This further made me ever more confident to own and use a LG G Flex 2 without fear inside my pocket exposed to sharp-edged keys.

LG G Flex 2 isn't just all about its only exotic screen. It is ever more magical and unbelievable to own a phone that’s made out of a material that has self-healing properties and LG G Flex 2 granted that! With the innovation of space-age polymer-resin and further improvements made, minor scratches are no more on this phone’s back cover in just mere ten-seconds after scratch! Away from the original 3 long minutes needed by the special hydrogen molecules to recover its own surface! Hence, I’m SOLD to it now – LG intent both back and forth to be non-scratch-able. I LOVED that!

This isn't a phone that just curves flexibly. It is an artistic masterpiece. Choice of Flamenco Red and Platinum Silver with a brushed metal accent makes them so funky hot, so sexy that they appeal themselves from a distant, stealing the limelight from all others, to be the centre masterpiece of attention. I will wanna bring them out to make myself feel like a supermodel on runway, and I feel assured I’ll get all the attention, for myself, with my sexy phone.
Ok, enough bragging with its extraordinary curved and scratch-proof exterior. It’s internal prowess is no pushover of whatsoever as well.

With latest Android Lollipop and Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 on the table, it’s greed and desire to be smartphone powerhouse cannot be ignored. Together with its 13MP back camera, offering Laser-guided autofocus and Optical Image Stabilization OIS+, I can now handle better low-light photography with much ease, whether or not I’m amateur or professional. On the front, I also become the king of selfies with the funkiest Gesture Shot and Gesture View feature, to take selfie with motion arc along the natural curves of the phone. How easy can that be possible with other phones? I can now confidently smile, cheese, whiskey and kimchi at myself on the 2MP camera towards the great vibrant 5.5" 1080p Full HD P-OLED screen and express myself in my greatest elegance and suaveness. :s7:

Thanks LG, I'm in need of one of this phone madly.:vijayadmin::vijayadmin::vijayadmin:

This video shows LG G Flex, not LG G Flex 2 ?
But the process should be the same.

Is the battery curved like the phone too ?

Tear down video of LG G flex2. According to the video, the battery is not curved, however is flexible without the hard plastic casing of removable battery. I think it is due to the flexible battery requirement, that is why the battery cannot be removable.

the charger how many A?

i normally buy 3rd party with at least 2A to charge cause the one come bundled always 1.5A or lower

LG G Flex2 ship with LG fast charger that is compatible with quickcharge 2.0. It works at 5V at 1.8A or 9V at 1.67A.

is the OIS+ of LG G Flex 2 different from other PNS camera OIS~? Will it be steady enough during low lights~?

Actually phone camera is easier to take sharp photo in slower shutter speed. There is a rule of thumb for shutter speed, the minimum shutter speed for sharp photo should be double the focal length. Typical phone camera lens focal length is 3-5 mm, much short than PNS camera. 1/6-1/10 sec still can take sharp photo with steady hands. With OIS+ of the LG G Flex2, even slower shutter speed is possible.

G4 new thus premium price.... is just like samsung S series but G4 supose to use cheaper CPU then flex 2

When LG Gflex 2 just launched there are shops sell below SRP price by LG. I believe G4 will be like LG G flex 2 once it launched there will be shops sell lower than SRP but need sometimes before drop more price :)

drop test & stationary 50kg weight on it totally different thing leh. For the drop test LG G flex 2 drop from a certain distance into the ground the force involve is affected by the distance/gravity/surface. Even for drop test whether to survive must see the location of the impact on the LG Gflex 2
