Qualcomm’s VP of marketing, Tim McDonough, says that the Snapdragon 810 never had a heating problem. Speaking with business magazine Forbes, the executive said that all of the rumors about the chipset running hot were "rubbish." McDonough did admit that early versions of the HTC One M9 and the LG G Flex 2 did overheat, but those were devices being tested and were not for commercial release.

Hmmm Qualcomm says the Snapdragon 810 in the LG G Flex 2 has no overheating issue.

Just saw this news...

Xiaomi boats faster Snapdragon 810 chip inside the MiNote Pro.

"But the phone might just have another trick up its sleeve. According to Xiaomi, the MiNote Pro uses a newer version of Qualcomm's top-of-the-line chip. The SoC it has is a v2.1 model, which the manufacturer claims gives it a slight edge in performance over other phones with the same Snapdragon chip."

Maybe the v2.1 solved the heat issue.

The 810 in LG G Flex 2 is what version ?

I believed the question is whether must both battery and charger be able to support fast charge or only charger matters...

The keywords for taking photos used are Cheese, Smile, Whiskey, Kimchi and LG

SHe used palm and fist for selfie.

LGGFlex2 people will say what the flex as it is flexible bendable great for selfie

Screen powered with a Plastic-OLED or P-OLED back with Self-healing technology

Camera empowered with Laser-guided autofocus, OIS+ Camera, Gesture Shot, Gesture View and Knock Code

I prefer if they used something more cheesy for the keywords

The LG G4 and the LG G Flex 2 aren't too dissimilar, apart from when it comes to physical design. The actual footprint of both is near enough the same, give or take a couple of millimetres, and while the LG G4 is slimmer, the LG G Flex 2 is lighter.

The displays are the same size and while the G4 has a higher resolution, which should mean a sharper and crisper image, the G Flex 2 offers a curve instead. Both have the same storage, the same battery and they both offer the same RAM support but the LG G Flex 2 has a faster processor.

It's the camera where the G4 takes a few strides ahead of the G Flex 2, delivering more megapixels and a larger aperture on both the rear and front snappers, as well as a few software extras. The G4 also comes with LG's new user interface but this isn't likely to be a deciding factor as both come with the latest version of Android.

The decision between these two smartphones probably won't come down to the specs. It will come down to which design you prefer. Do you want something unique and different, or do you want a smartphone that could offer one of the best cameras out there at the moment?

Does LG sell a leather back cover for the LG G Flex 2 for those who do not care about the self healing back ? It can complement the sexy hot curves for the phone!

long term heat will cause electronic to breakdown faster lo~ maybe LG G flex 2 suffer heat issue long term when just nice 1yr warranty end it break down.

Does the heat issue cause the LG G Flex 2 to lag and crash when playing games ?
If just nice warranty over then break down really suay man.

I wonder whether the POLED screen is visible under the bright sunlight.

Any sample photos of fast moving objects showcasing the OIS+ and laser autofocus of the LG G Flex 2 ?

Think both battery/phone and charger must be able to support fast charge for it to work.
