Yes, no need big files. Small one will do.

Try saving into different folders off the network drive. Issue might occur during changing of folders.

Dear Thiamhui,

I will go home and test on my Mac and Windows system.

Let you know tomorrow.

Best regard,
JK

Hi JK,

Have problem with my internet access when connected to router, wanted to ask if you can help.

My PC is wired to the router, the network status shows connected but my websites don't load. Any device that i have connected on wifi show as connected but websites also don't load. When I reboot the router then i can surf, but the same problem happens after around 1 hour or so. I tried connecting directly to the ONT and it is working fine (so I assume is not ISP problem?)

Previously i use RT-N56U and this issue happen so i change to RT-AC87U but still the same :(

Any advice? Am using Firmware 3.0.0.4.378_5134

Thanks in advance.

Don't blame the router... Blame your lousy phone..

I found this post by one media.

This is perhaps the most disappointing news with iOS 8.3: it at last acknowledged the existence of a bug which has spawned the largest iOS thread on Apple Support Communities, but one week later the attempted fix has proved hit and miss – at best.

The thread (which has now amassed nearly 850,000 views and 3,000 replies) has been flooded by users angry that it still persists after upgrading to iOS 8.3 despite it being referenced in the release: “Addresses an issue where some devices disconnect intermittently from Wi-Fi networks”

This is something of a turnaround after early posts from affected users suggested the issue had been solved, but now the unfixed comments strongly outweigh the fixed.

For a bug first spotted on September 20th – within a few days of the original iOS 8 release – this really isn’t good enough given the problem renders WiFi connectivity almost useless. Furthermore the tone of the Apple Support Communities thread is getting ugly with as much discussion about angry users getting kicked off the board as the issue itself.

Tons of user complaining IOS wifi issue until page 197 and Apple still unable to resolve.

Ehy, thats not right.
No problem with ios and android devices on the 68u... but dc on 87u. Blame our "lousy" phone? C'mon ov2rey - your fanboy mentality needs to be corrected. If you are not facing any problem doesn't mean its problem free for all. Take a look at smallnetbuilder forum and you'll know what I mean.

Thamhui is even facing prob with his notebook... blame his notebook too. If you are only havin the mentality that its a user problem.. i suggest u keep quiet and let others help out

We've got JK, Jong and other very tech savvy people here. No need for your opinion and "lousy" device comment

And please stop thinking that you're more resourceful and smarter than the other "dumb" users.

Thanks

Dear Thiamhui,

I still need more time to do testing.

Mac/ Windows LAN <> Router<>LAN NAS/Server- Windows
After 1 day of testing i still didn't encounter any problem on Windows 8.1 system, but MacOs 10.10.3 / 10.10.4 seems to have to wait for 10 seconds to detect the network drive, when the network drive is idling.

Next testing

MAC / Windows Wireless <> Router <> NAS/Server- Windows
