It is normal to get about 40% of the link rate. So 200Mbps is normal for 433Mbps link rate.

I see. Thanks for your confirmation cos I thought I should be getting higher than that.

I understand it is recommended to switch on AI protection and Firewall leaving the QOS switch off?

Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks.

Ahhh Cool, no more loopback. hahaha. To be monitored for a few hours.

Sorry, new here. Can I check what is the difference between the firmware from Maylyn and the official?

I just upgrade from the Router UI menu on the latest firmware so is it better using default firmware? :s11:

If you have a good ac client with a fast PC, 500Mbps on wifi is possible.

I installed Broadcom BCM4360 into my macbook pro, I got around 450mbps. Link rate is 1.3gbps.

If really want near 1gbps wifi connection then buy 2 ac87u one as router and the other as client.

Oh, can do this in order to get higher wifi speed? How to do that?

One as router and one as media bridge then u connect by cat 6 cables from media bridge to pc or laptop, can get 900+mbps due 1.734gbps link rate from the wireless bridge.

The 900+Mbps is for Lan Speed and not Wifi speed, right?

Saw at challenger... Have more than 10 boxes ... But AC3200 all sold out...

Hi trichard,

Is AC3200 2.4ghz and 5ghz stable with BF enabled? Fast? Somehow ac87u is slow on 5G. Giving up on AC87U. Going to jump ship liao like you.
