Firmware I'm using 3.0.0.4.378_7449, mobile hard disk is my hard disk box (SSK) Seagate hard drive installation.
I use a dual dial will have this problem, I now try to use the single-line dial-up Internet access can use stable, the other I / JFFS directory inside the router installed a plug-in for the Thunder offline download. I do not know the reason. But when I did not install the plug, double dial still router automatically restart after a short time. Can you test it? THX!

我使用的固件是3.0.0.4.378_7449，移动硬盘是我用的硬盘盒（SSK）安装的希捷硬盘。
我使用了双拨会存在这个问题，我现在尝试使用单线拨号上网能够稳定的使用，另外我在路由器的/JFFS目录里面安装了一个迅雷插件用于脱机下载。我不知道是不是这个原因。但是我没有安装插件的时候，双拨依然会一小段时间后自动重启路由器。你能实验一下吗？谢谢！

I was not going to post this until further testing but just for the curious out there I sold my rt-ac87r and purchased a Linksys EA8500.
All I have to say is all my problems, hiccups, dead spots, and app problems are no more (gone).

Is the EA8500 as feature rich as the AC87U?

Does it supports feature like FTP, VLAN (aka IPTV VID), VPN Server, AiCloud?

Linksys no support Aicloud. Aicloud is only asus.

EA8500 supports similar feature of something like a cloud disk iirc, but no free cloud storage though..

I would love to review one unit of EA8500 though..

I would not call Asus routers feature rich, just bloatware to me, stuff I never used.
the EA8500 does support FTP, VLAN (IPTV is mentioned), I don't see any VPN server in the menu's.

Like I said all my issues are gone, my PS4 lag is no more (the least amount of lag I ever had), QOS works outstanding on the Linksys, no dead wifi spots at all, DHCP reservation is so easy, extremely quick user GUI.
One last thing : my app I use on my iOS device has stopped working with the asus router and I had to buy a different app, with the Linksys router I can now use the app again, NOTHING ELSE CHANGED BUT ME SWITCHING ROUTERS, NOTHING not even an app update..

Hi,just bought a set today. But it seems my router wont power on. I have tried pressing the on / off button at the back of the router and the power switch......but still it wont turn on. What do i need to do to get a new replacement

No need to go service centre, just it bring back to the shop you bought from and get a 1-to-1 exchange within 7 days. Remember to bring along your receipt.

Give it to us, JK. Hopefully JK, doesn't stand for "Just Kidding" on the improved firmware. Long time coming. Maybe the Adaptive QOS is not broken like it has been in the last couple of betas.
