Feeling sad here. My 3+ year old Samsung UA55D7000LN which is so lightly used suddenly after 20-30 minutes of watching has vertical lines appearing. Not too many lines but very noticeable on some coloured backgrounds.

Would any of you know if this repairable and at what cost?

Thank you so much. I appreciate all the help and advice.

Unfortunately, it is likely that the panel is faulty, hence this issue. Panel replacements are typically expensive, and it will be more cost effective to replace the tv instead.

Hi guys, my Samsung p2370 LCD have flickering screen sometimes even black screen. I googled and it seems to be the capacitor that is the one causing the problem.

Is there any places I can bring to solve this issue and whats the usual cost of it.

Yes. Or could be the LED backlight PCB is failing. Perhaps you can open up to check and see any blown capacitors first?

Maybe you can google for the model + the symptons and see whether can you find other user who got similar problem and how did they resolve it.

Screen as above while streaming and watching through usb.

First time, technician did a hard reset. Second time, technician changed the hub. This is the 3rd time liao within a year.

Very doubtful they can fix it. :o

Hi Bros,

Any idea about HDMI port not displaying? Has been fine using last week. It can be detected on my laptop, but the display is just blue screen.

Model: Toshiba 32P1300VE

Thanks in advance

Have you asked them "What if my TV spoilt liao, after standard warranty but within the extended warranty and the manufacturer already EOL this model?"

From what I heard, they'll just give you some discount and ask you to buy another new one. But the discount is lousy one.

I can answer that question.

Not really sure about other shops but for Harvey, if you buy the extended warranty and if the product EOL and there is a fault that cannot be repair, they will replace you with a brand new model of the same price as your faulty TV.

Of course, you can top up more if you wanted a bigger or more expensive model.

Ok. Point taken. Did you personally read this somewhere? Or you personally experienced this before?

Anyone has their Panel died before? My Samsung TV suddenly has a dimmed top portion of the screen and after a while the tv will keep rebooting. Samsung sent their 3rd party contractor and he just on the tv and tell me its the panel spoil which costs above 1K to repair without further diagnostics. Got to pay $80 for that 1min service...I felt that its not justifiable if no further checks done. What if it is smaller issue and can be repaired $100-$200?

How old is your TV? I rather pay $80 than to bring my TV all the way to them to be checked and pay say $20-$30.

Anyway, I Google-ed and YouTube-ed how to troubleshoot my own TV and it seems that the panel is spoilt. So bo bian liao ... must buy new one.
