disappointed with Lai En tailor for pants wise. Went to tailor a white pants and the material turns out to be old and yellow stained. Most likely will not patronize again.

Any other recommendations on pants tailor ?

Did the fabric turn out not to be the same as what you chose from the swatch?

Yes, she told me that the color is due to chalk coloring but it doesnt seems so after washing .

You know when you did not wear a white shirt for a long time, it will turn into yellowish color.

Budget for pants? Imo also reject the pants and ask them to make a new one or give u equivalent in shirts

Sze Sze... Don't know why you would get the impression that Lai En is the place to go for pants..

thats a bummer. like the others, i would ask them to make a new pair for me or at least change to an equivalent value shirt.

tailor wise i guess the general (bang-for-buck) consensus here is Lai En for shirts and Szesze for pants, though i read a few pages before that they do produce pretty value for money suits.

You can bring it back and they will definitely do something about it. So far from what I observe in their pants dealings, I don't see them being irresponsible or unfair. You can contact me if you need any help.

U wanna try soaking it in bleach, then wash with Dynamo Complete (for that extra whitening power) before bring back to them?

Going to try bleaching it and see if it works.

I talked to the auntie and she doesnt want to change it. Just blaming on the fabric that we chose. Didnt want to argue further so just paid and go off.

Did one shirt and one pant. The shirt was pretty okay but it's abit translucent. I guess Lai En is suitable for shirt tailor than pants.

I heard quite a number of negative reviews on Sze Sze. Not sure if i will try them out. Any other suggestion ?

How about grand city and xin en ? Are they good in suit and pants tailor?

If want gpgt i posted mine couple pages back.

But if you really die die dont want any potential hassles, suggest just pay up and visit the higher tier playas

I just collected my shirt and pants earlier from Lai En, all ok.

Just so happens I'm wearing a pair of Sze Sze pants today. Hand-shanked buttons and hand-stitched button holes if the sort of thing floats your boat. All for under $100.

I'd still use Sze Sze as a budget pants tailor even if my pants didn't have those features.

$68? On their FB it seems to indicate a promo price of $79 assuming you also get a shirt at $50
