Not possible to get 144 Hz refresh rate at 300 sgd locally. The cheapest of the cheapest monitor I can find on amazon at 144 Hz 1080p would be this: Asus VG248QE 24 Inch LED Lit with 1ms response time. But I would not really recommend this as it is using a TN panel with a very glossy screen (easy to see your own reflection). Warranty and shipping is an issue as well.

Like others said, I recommend the U2414H from Dell. IPS panel + matte screen. Response time of 8ms doesn't really affect gaming much as the human eye can't really differentiate between 1ms to 10ms (0.00x seconds, average human reaction time is 0.25 seconds. If you can make a decision in game in 1/100 seconds then go for 1ms, otherwise no diff).

Great monitor for gaming as well (I play competitive LoL and CS:GO with this monitor), without the distraction of your own reflection (unless you always play in a dark area).

However, of the games you mentioned, the only games you might benefit from with a 144 Hz monitor will be CS:GO (more fluid movements and the few frames can help you spot an enemy). The difference will only be significant if your rank in CS:GO is at least LE (Legendary Eagle).

If you are looking for a 1080p monitor, 23 to 24 inch will be the perfect size. Any bigger and you will notice a drop in quality. Only get above 25 inches if you are looking for a 2k monitor.

Yes it's okay, but however its 1080p at 27 inch which might cause the text to appear quite small. 24 inch is the optimal for 1080p.

Nonetheless, that's not a bad monitor. Pretty good one actually (uses PLS panel, which arguably is better than IPS in terms of gaming). Best if you could go down to any Challenger to take a look (Funan's one definitely has one on display, or a similar model) before deciding which monitor to get.

You might want to check out Sitex as well, which is coming soon (mainly for the free gifts). Best to get it at SLS unless you got alot of coupons for Qoo10 as you can sometimes get discounts.

Maybe want to go Asus VX238H @ 259 for 1ms GTG?
Or go 2x VX228H @ $189 each then you can go 3840x1080.

benq-pg02.jpg

BenQ RL2455HM 1ms monitor @ $258
This one also can consider for gaming.

acer-pg02.jpg

If you want to retain brand loyalty can consider Acer 27 inch IPS $299 Only.
It's Glossy. 6ms.

AOC IPS imho are a cheaper alternative for Dell Matte IPS Monitor.
i2757FH $369 vs U2414H $339 for Matte IPS

Guys how about u2415h. What is the difference beside 16:9 n 16:10 against 2414h

1920x1080 (Watch 720p/1080p Movie no borders)
vs
1920x1200 (Watch 720p/1080p Movie will have borders but better net surfing experience cos more content being displayed.)

so in short u2415h is slightly better due to the wide angle right.

Thanks!

Not Wide Angle.
Just more things can be shown on screen cos resolution is higher.
1920x1080 vs 1920x1200
So 120 more pixels will be displayed on screen.
