AMEX Platinum Charge Card

Hi, would you mind to share how you use the Accor Plus and Accor Platinum?
I recently sign up the Acoor Plus, Accor Plus Customer Care said cannot combine the Accor Plus and Platinum, so they issued a Accor Plus card with sliver Le Club membersh.

I'm in Australia but for me they combined them.

I'd complain a bit more because it sounds like a real hassle what you are having to do.

40k mr equals to how many miles now? Can't find it through their website... Is the conversion ratio 1.8:1 or 1.6:1 now?

I think to get anything more than the 40K you have to threaten to cancel... as in many things in life, it's how you negotiate! My point is that it is untrue that 40K is a hard limit, as I definitely know of one person who was offered more.

What's happening to Palate?

My palate/far package came in 3 months late, and only after I called them. When I got the card, it was an issue too.

Nevertheless, the shock came when I saw the palate vouchers. No more mrandmrssmith voucher and the cullina voucher. in fact the other vouchers all had some form of minimum spend or requirement. Had I known about this, maybe I wouldn't have renewed this card. Will probably not renew it again. 40mr doesn't seem to attractive now.

Haha, good for you! I cancelled mine too and am not missing it. I switched to the UOB Visa Infinite that comes with my bank account. It doesn't come with all the bells and whistles, but the annual fee is waived, so its free and I wasn't using most of the AMEX benefits anyhow.

Actually if you are aiming for centurion , shouldn't go cancelled it or beg for points, invites are there... get a PB and refer for centurion , its not hard.

AMEX is extremely useful if you travel a lot , a lot means more than 250 flight hours per year.

You can have mine , i never used any at all, hardly in SGP ...

They never fail to send me any , because i am their high spender.

Having cancelled this card earlier this year, and with the new green charge card due for launch, I was just researching into this card again for any additional benefits.

Has anything changed? By that, I meant changed for the better?

Plat charge card no more Tower club access. account service say but still can use amex card for payment in tower club anytime as they still accept amex. What a joke.

No nightlife. No country club now take away tower club.
Ok I still have UOB Vi to access tower & china club.

Amex charged my annual fee in Nov, but I haven't received the renewal pack.
Contacted Amex on Wednesay, they said renewal pack will be posted 4-6 weeks when annual fee is cleared. They used to send the renewal pack earlier before the annual fee due.

Nope nothing new. She talk abt same thing like pp pass, travel voucher etc it's confirmed tower club is off the list. Renewal perk still 40k pts
