I think I have said this somewhere before... Ultimately always comparing to others inevitably leads to unhappiness.
What one really needs to compete with has always been themselves, to be better than the you yesterday is good enough.

Most of the replies There don't sound happy though they earning so much. Wonder why?

Becos they are greedy wants more. And think that they are still poor even though already much better than average joe on the street. These kinds of ple will never be happy matter how rich they can become.

Clearly, all these people with money posting in this forum called "Money Mind" is causing great unhappiness. Seems that money can't buy happiness, but reading about other people having money can cause unhappiness.

Mods should take a stand and move all these posts by people with money to a new subforum. Like all those 'I got 2 condos and a private house' threads.

No lar not really unhappy that others are doing better. Can learn from richer ple and poorer ple at same time. I think being humble is most important whether rich or poor.

Spending is good. Monies are meant to be spent away in exchange for something. Good that your last 10yrs you spent. Why keep so much for retirement. End up you may also not get to use them. Unless you want to work hard your whole life and give the monies to your kids or let the next generation have better life then thats different.

32 yrs old.

CPF = $52K
Cash = $10K
Assets = 1 bedroom condo purchased with my sister still under construction and will be renting out for income.

That's where most of my cash went. :(

~$650K (Bank loan about 50%), OCR region but MRT at the doorstep. I know the market is slow now but when I am looking at 10 - 20 years down the road.

If you save $1000 a month, in 10 years you'd already have $120K. If you're single and earning $2500/month gross this is doable. And that's presuming your pay doesn't increase at all for 10 years.
