Filco is $169 from Lazada. Func has blue n red switches and cost $129. Steelseries about $160. CM too. There are many brands for your budget.

Ask yourself if u want full size or tenkeyless, led, which color switch. Also must u have ps2 port cos only ps2 give u full NKRO n most led keyboard got no ps2.

Gamers tend to like red switches cos there's less resistance. Typist like blue. Brown is in between. My least favorite but all down to personal tastes.

Lastly, get Cherry MX, not Kaihl switches.

Rosewill RK9000 V1 or V2

Blue switces, if you can find them

Seems like OOS at the moment. Happy with my Rosewill rk-9000v2 for under $90 (after discounts, think regular price is $109). Good basic board with metal inner chassis. I suppose a bit too basic for elites, I can understand if they look down on it ;) Only issue so far is keys under heavy use are fading a bit, but expected from printed keys. Will replace keycaps at some point.

Rosewill avoid at all cost.. Seriously rubbish...

Ducky Shine led always kaput.

Topre 2nd hand is ard 200 plus. New will cost ard 300plus.. seriously out of TS budget.

TS can consider getting a Tesoro durandal that is using cherry mx keys at caraohell. Someone is selling at 50bucks and change the key caps.

if buy 2nd hand then must change to new keycaps or wash with soap every single key caps. Hygiene rah.

I rather recommend ducky zero over rosewill any day. I own both rosewill and ducky plus I have more then 10 mech keyboards filco, royal kludge, hhkb, corsair etc. but in the end, i will only use topre real force87 or cherry G80. Why waste money crap keyboards?

there is a reason why rosewill suddenly disappeared from the market and you can see ducky still around.:)

in what sense is rosewill rubbish?

u also mention that ducky led will also kaput, doesnt it mean it is rubbish as well?

and i personally think Tesoro durandal is rubbish

my rosewill red's are still surviving till today and i have chucked the tersoro durandal to my family pc

rosewill is still available in the US market and not in SG doesnt mean its no good... Its like saying EVGA not in sg = rubbish?

Basic is good. Less issues long term. My cm quickfire led blow before. Good thing BL can exchange, no need rma. Anyway there are also pricey basic kb

Changed from a CM Storm Quickfire Rapid TKL (Blue switch) a Corsair Strafe RGB (Red switch) recently and these are my personal opinions.

First off, the CM served me well for over 4 years of heavy usage. No failure or what so ever with the switches and 3 red LEDs. I've installed double O-rings for the noisy blue switches and it was a perfect fit for me. (I do bottom out often when i type). However, I was enticed by an upgrade to a corsair RGB (yep, for the colour hype) as well as a change to cherry mx red for a different typing feel.

The Corsair Strafe is indeed a beauty to look at. The CUE software is simple and easy to play around with the led configurations. The usb port on the rear is an added bonus as well. However, unlike the k70, dust and hair do accumulate easily underneath the keys due to the 'sunken' feature'.

Overall, it was a tough decision of choosing a 'neater' and compact TKL keyboard to fit my desk layout or an attractive RGB but full length one. Key-wise, it's more of an individual preference. Blue switches definitely suit typing while red switches suit gaming more. But for now, I guess I'll be sticking to the Strafe and let the Quickfire Rapid take a break.

How are the browns doing for you?
Does brown switch register key press just easily like red does?

Noisier than expected or as compared to MX Silent? O-Rings may be of help, can PM convergent also to see if they can work something out. :)

Coming from filco blue, the brown tactile feel is surprisingly stiffer than blues and it is kinda bothering me. So maybe I should have went with the lighter silent switch :(
Noise wise, they are fine. The blues are a lot noisier!

Nice to see other Strafe users enjoying it :s13:

Btw for all who are looking for O-rings, I've gotten mine from Banggood at S$4.90 for 150Pcs. Around 2 weeks of waiting time.

Don't get chopped by those marked-up prices in SLS.
