NTUC income also have 35% discount. Their coverage and rates about the same as DBS MSIG.

price is one thing
coverage is another thing
can claim or not is another thing ...

so far tried msig and aviva, not bad ...
have started to shift from buying aviva to msig
aviva u have to print our the paper to fill up, if u wanna make a medical claim
for msig, u just submit the online form , easier, no need to print out

ace, no need say liao ... super bad experience ...
they always partner with citibank in the past, their plans r cheap, always 35 to 40% discount. scoot and tiger partner with ace, wont buy from them
one to two bad experience is enough lol !!!
and few ppl in this forum have also mentioned tat ace is not very good :)

ntuc, no buy before ... some friend say ok, some friend not ok
no wan risk later buy liao , they have many clauses to barr u from claiming lol
u got managed to get ur medical claims before ?
share share ur experience ?

Actually no single travel insurance plan is perfect. Some got more medical benefits etc etc and some may cover something which other companies don't. You really have to read their policy details first before deciding which to buy. I'm not here to tell you which is good or bad. It depends on your requirement.

I've heard some good feedback about NTUC and my relatives usually buy from them too.

It seems like you have claimed travel insurance many times. Must be quite unlucky for you.
For me, (Touch Wood) so far I've never had to claim insurance before yet.

By the way, you mean for MSIG you just need to submit online form for medical claim? No need to submit supporting documents like medical bills/receipts/reports?

I read for NTUC, if want to claim medical expenses, need to submit claim form with the supporting documents and cannot submit online.

Since you travel so frequently, why don't buy Annual instead of single trip?

cox most of my trips r not i anticipate lol ...
i calculated if i going to fly at least 13 trips then worth to buy annual
yeah, my last yr 10+ trips, more worth to buy annual lol ... but nvm is ok ...

like if got promo, if good price, not bad dates, then would go ahead to book ...
just like my jun taipei booked jetstar at 57sgd...
then just nice last week have bangkok jetstar at 69sgd fly jun also
so think the price is good, somemore is school holiday , more worth to fly
hence have this bangkok trip added to my jun calendar :)

Hi. I am going hongkong then Macau. And is keen to buy dbs traveler shield since there is a 35%off. But would like to check whether my presence in Macau is covered ?

From dbs msig traveller shield website, your country falls under area 2:
Area 2: Australia, China (excluding inner mongolia and tibet), hong kong, india, japan, korea, macau, new zealand, sri lanka, taiwan, including countries in area 1

Think is covered ba ...
you can double confirm with the dbs rep here :)
he quite active in the forum also :)

Hello JihJing, yes as Dede1217 has shared, your trip to Macau and Hong Kong will be covered if you select Area 2 when you get TravellerShield.

Wishing you a pleasant trip in advance.

More worth to fly during school holidays? If you have kids then no choice but be prepared to pack and squeeze with people. That's why I don't like to travel during that period.

Because you always travel over the weekend that's why always jam. And you always like to take taxi instead of train of course always jam too.

By the way you always travel to same place over and over again not bored at all?
