Boat sailing b4 we reach single digit. ECB going to intervene soon from Draghi speech.

Pre-cursor of a banking crisis in Europe?
Just as the US Govt. bailed out AIG and Bear-Stearns, before Lehman collapsed?

so the scrip price will only determined on XD?

I think is take the weighted average price from 26 to 28 April.

Please see below :D

For the purposes of the application of the Scheme to the FY15 Final Dividend, the price at which each new Share is to be issued (the “Issue Price”) will be set at a 10% discount to the average of the daily volume-weighted average prices of the Shares during the price determination period between 26 April 2016 and 28 April 2016 (both dates inclusive). The Bank will announce the Issue Price on 29 April 2016.

DB falls from 35 to 16. It's one of the major players in finance. It is a good bargain with 50 to 100% gains.

I agree that it's a bargain, but I disagree that it will have 50 to 100% in the middle-term.

There is plan about breaking up DB, once it breaks up, you will never get back those gains again like you see for US banks. European banks are not as lassie faire as the US ones.

ECB could intervene before there are collapses by doing 'qe'

They will wait for multiple collapses before intervening.

Draghi emphasised on banks capacity to take on debts. We would have to see banks 'merge' or fall before he moves.

A gaming analogy will be that draghi only has enough mana for a heal/revive and will use it only when the hp is critical or when the player is dead

breaking up has been talking for years but looks like they are finally forced to do it. halt the twin towers!

My wild guess for DB in the event it goes under :

DB will be saved, shareholders & bond holders will take a haircut.
How much hair to cut depends on the barber (German government) & stylist (ECB)
