Aldo ish nice but way too exp, Bata quite okie, Beetlebug cannot last at all. Hush puppies damm commfy! in the end i ish go for Pedro oso coze their designs rather upto date n stylish, but cant really say the same for commfyness as per wad other bros mentioned.

Pedro shoes ... i find those pointed ones wear like three months, the front, the shape will change from pointed to rounded instead.

cheap but quality sucks.

If you are looking for good and long lasting shoes...
why not try Loake, they are english hand made shoe
for pricing about 250+ a good introductory pricing
to the world of english handmade shoes...
You can find them at Robinson

Why buy shoes from fashion house.....
they produce crap shoe at premium pricing....

Pedro to me is pricey, looks good only. Not lasting, hardly comfortable.

Using Black Hammer now, cheaper than Pedro. Decent looks, not so comfortable but it's cheap.

Best to get Aldo. Expensive but worth it.

Berluti at Nee Ann City
Churches, Santoni, Baker at Takashimaya
Jeffery West, Oliver Sweeny at Tangs

Singapore is completely hopeless for traditional boot maker......
I'm into English boot maker ....the one i know are
Edward Green, John Lobb, J.M. Weston, Crockett & Jones, Lodger,
Tricker, Edward Green, G J Cleverley...

the above are kind of expensive....
Try Loake.... they are of more afforable pricing.....

I buy cheap shoes and throw away after use. Expensive shoes look nice but not practical in Singapore.

Multiple reasons:
Don't really take care of my shoes. Just simple brushing. Good shoes needs to be conditioned and polished to maintain the uppers.

In Singapore and alot of places in Asia, constantly need to take out the shoes and put them on again, making the heel prone to damage if you need to put them on quickly.

You need two shoes at least to rotate, not a single pair. Let the other pair air for 24 hours at least. This somewhat limits the budget if you get expensive shoes.

Quite a bit of wet weather certain time of the months, inpractical to use leather soled shoes unless topied. Plus, if you take public transport, lots of walking.

Most important of all, I think the advantage of having good shoes re-soled so they are cheaper in the long term is lost in Singapore or most of South East Asia. We simply do not have qualified people to do good recrafting work. If we send it back to wherever it was made, the cost (Delivery two ways, charges for recrafting, waiting time etc) is almost enough to cover for 80% the cost of a new pair of shoes.
