Is there a limit to the number of laptops/device a student can buy ?

I may want to buy one laptop and one iPad for myself too ... :s13:

Updated my post on the UX305 Intel issue - you can check it out :)
Haha I believe there is a limit, but you will have to check how many is your daughter entitled to.

For iPads and Apple Products there's the Apple Academic Store as well! :)

@ryan khoo wait for the new it show or fair. My friend bought the i5/8gb/256gb asus zenbook at $1098, $300 off the retail price. 2 retailers offering $1098 were challenger and HN.

Hope it helps

You selling laptops ?

Since it is coming out next week, I might as well wait ... but how do we know when the list is out ?

Does the onsite repair really works ? I mean is it really convenient when you need to repair ? I had a very bad experience before with Western Digital HDD. When your Harddisk is spoil, the procedure is so long and inconvenient to kill you that most, including me gave up claiming the warranty. They said they don't have a repair office in Singapore and have to put in a separate sleeve (which you have to buy) and sent it to a box at a specific place and it will ship to dono where ... and the sleeve also got some specific specs ... oh well, that's out of topic liao ...

Cause I'm entering this year. And no I'm not selling. The list will be finalize by 17 July. School repair center is located somewhere in the school. If it takes more than a few hours. A loan set will be provided.

Apple Store is also 10% and u get free headphone.

I calculated already. Apple store discount is less than challenger 1... bt of cus u gt free beats headphone if u like....

I feel MacBooks r of gd quality so worth the extra price to pay? As compared to other brand laptops who's motherboard will get burnt n spoilt easily

For Applecare, is it possible to buy it like almost one year after purchase of an apple product and also at student pricing separately?

I believe so. Do call up the Apple hotline to check with them if there are any changes before purchasing.

You can buy the AppleCare Protection Plan with your new Mac, Apple Display, or Apple TV, or within one year of your product purchase. Learn more about where to buy the AppleCare Protection Plan.

Do note that Apple Care is different from Apple Care + that's found on iPhones (in which it's an extended warranty, and not an accidental damage protection type found on the Apple Care+)
