Anyway, the three most popular performance tyres in 225/45/17 and 225/40/18 sizes that are most value for money today are CSC5, PS3 and F1A2.

Which one to choose... really depends on you. Maybe just go for the cheapest haha.

When stationery, both are as hard as far as I can tell.

But CSC5 is stiffer when cornering at high speed.

If want super hard, then go for Pirelli P Zero. Super performance, super noisy.

To be honest, getting a harder tyre to overcome kerb hitting habit is not the solution; the toughest tyre will wear out one day.

To overcome your problem, improve on your estimation skills in tight carparks, especially your usual ones.

Another solution I adopted myself was, the "if not sure, just reverse one more time" rule..... :s13:

haha i buah when doing parallel parking.... abit too nua so just try my luck... thanks for recommending! i research abit more

I used both and I can't tell which is harder. My car is heavy and I prefer harder tires so pumped at 280kpa.

CSC5 lasted me 35k km while I am still using the PS3. My earlier CSC2 lasted me only 25k km.

wah so CSC5 last only 35k?!?!?!?! thats bad considering my current set 40k liao still looks like alot thread left...

always buay kerb? can show us a photo of your rims? lol... jk...
i heard some where that wheel alignment may be affected when the tires hit the kerb too many times... not sure how true this is...

next time i show... alot scratches and very colourful... got yellow paint, black paint, and white paint...

if you have the habit of bua your tires, get those with harder sidewall. it will protect the rims too.

Rim repaired and tyres check, no damage to steel mesh, thats why always go for low profile and hard sidewalls.

Just came back from Hatyai with that, 160km+ all the way.
