o ok. 18" wheels are very nice, the only thing is that the tires are very expensive. :(

ya. my profile is slightly wider. 225 will be slightly cheaper thou. :)
I wonder how people can live with 19" 35 profile? :s22:

I check their price online. Then lowball the dealers. Either they give same price or I will book with tyrepac

Sent from Samsung SM-N910G using GAGT

i think 19 and 20" are very nice too, esp on sports cars and some 3.0 sedans like bmw or merc. imagine a civic or altis on 20" rims... :s13::s13::s13:

and i think the tires to go with these rims are not gonna be cheap too...

Prices of 225/45/17 and 225/40/18 had came down considerably.

Today, you may get Continental CSC5 for about $170 and $190 respectively.

I just did a search. Kim Hoe listed 17" PS3 for $165. Darn good deal. 18" CSC5 could be had for $190. PS3, a bit more.

These sizes had became more common in recent years so merchants could bring them in larger quantities, resulting in lower costs.

my friend's 5 series 19" rims and tires total $12K.
later discover the rim design very hollow. add another $5k for BBK to fill up the gap. :D

o, that logically explains the drop in prices for these 2 sizes... thanks for sharing.

btw i was with a friend at his mechanic last week and we met a guy who distributes a brand of engine oil called ROAR. lol... i know some of you are probably laughing at that name... he claims that his oil can go for 20k km. even showed us so many photos of super cars using his oil.

any tried it before? did your engine ROAR after that?
