How's the bass on it? Sufficient..? Thinking of getting the presonus E5.. Or Kanto YU5
sufficient for me for music, but for watching movie, a dedicated sub would be welcomed :o

where did you buy from?
Anywhere to test hear it?
i buy from musictouchmyheart, i think theres a reseller/distro in sls or slt, you can audit there. cant remember the store name, some of the old bird here might know the shop name.

sinamex for audition
check this out too

JBL LSR2325P 5"Bi-Amplified Powered Studio Monitor Pair

sinamex for audition is ok, but if really getting from them, i will advise to think twice or thrice. Their aftersale service is really :s22: and the information they provide can roti prata here and there.

So if anyone requires after sale service from them, just a heads up. experienced it once and thats enough for me :vijayadmin:

So ultimately, where would be the best place to audit with the biggest range of monitor speakers?

Agree that their aftersales service really :s22:. Had to lug my E5 down all the way to tell me not speaker fault.:s22:

But since they distro, any other shops willing to repair for u or they will still get u to go back Sinamex (distro) for repairs?

Thanks in advance!

Valentine Music also ok right.. ?
Yups. Just pointing out the bigger ones. There are smaller shops in SLT and SLS. I think even Swee Lee also sells, just more limited in variety.

Thanks to very selfless guy(s), monitor speaker buying is now much easier than before.
First go take a good listen at some monitor speakers at some shops. Preferably the set up is as similar as your own room as possible.
And then go to this sound cloud to compare all the monitor speakers to see how they sound compared to each other, so you can choose the sound which suits your room and preference best.

They have a lot of recordings. And by that, I mean a lot.

Creative Gigaworks T20 around $100+.
2.1 setup is more for bass, even if you don't have space.
2.1 like Creative T3300 which you can try.
The subwoofer you can put behind your monitor if you
don't have space on the floor.
It's a rather small speaker so will not take up much of space.

T40 used to sell at $250? What a joke lol.

Hmmm... based on the frequency chart in the video... Seems like the LSR305 is quite a well balanced / value for $ speaker..

Go to 3:03 of the video to hear a very important point

Also, listening to the music is more important than using that frequency response

For your budget and usage, HANDS DOWN - Swans D1080-IV @ $249.
I would NOT recommend any other speakers in this price range for a 2.0 setup.
But you could go with the little brother, the D1010-IV for $179.

Think you can get them cheaper in lazada with codes.
