I bought the OLED Tv in mid August and 3 months later there were issues with it (there were vertical black and green lines on the screen like dead pixels. but it got worse and now TV cannot be turned on) and now it failed! I question the reliability of your product which can fail in just 3 months. Apparently, I am not the only one. Having encouraged my friend to also buy the same model of tv, his tv failed in just 2 weeks (same problem with vertical lines). He was lucky to get a replacement set and I thin that is the right thing to do.
As for me, I am also annoyed by the fact that the repair service is somehow lacking in customer service. Your call centre is good although I think better follow up action can be done to inform customer regularly on the status of the repair. I asked for a repair service to be conducted onsite scheduled on 18 Nov but instead I received a phone call on that morning and was speaking to a technician. So an onsite repair became a remote repair where I just briefly described the issues with the TV and he said I have to wait for 2 weeks for the parts to be indented. I am fine with this mode of repair so long the technician knows what he is doing and have the expertise to do so. Not an issue. However, 2 weeks later, I had to follow-up with another call to your service centre to enquire about the status only to find out that I have to wait till mid of december for the parts (which is not even confirmed at this moment). This then brings the whole waiting period to a month or even more. My big question is does LG expect customer who spent $5000+ for a tv which is supposed to be one of the best model from LG to go without TV for a month? I have never come across such service standard!
The lesson I learnt is never to buy from LG ever again. I advise against buying LG products. The TV is a lemon and I cannot accept your standard of repair service.
was offer $2650 for 55C7T after trade in 49" TV (trade in $600) and dvd player. free wall mount. (free DVD player promotion end today, trade in $200)
guess I'm also one of those unlucky few. got it for less den 2 weeks got the same vertical line problem. mine is red and green.
gonna call lg on tues hopefully can get it solve ASAP. haiz.
I believe the bulk of your watching should be blurays, 4k blurays, 4k streaming etc if you are considering oled. The price diff between oled n normal led is almost double for standard grade 4k TV.
Tv watching should be minimum and not a key priority if you are looking to pay such prices for a tv.
If it is even close to 50%, I suggest you save on your budget and get an under $2k 4k tv for 55".

image retention is temporary, what are your concerns around it?Dear all, had been considering the 55 inch c7 for some time already.
However high volume of online reviews of image retention (nt burn in) is holding me back.

Hi,
My questions may sound silly.
1) Is your router a AC router?
2) If so is it in direct view of the TV as I think "AC" has less penetrating power through walls as compared to "N" signal, though they can travel longer distance.
My router is "N" type, so TV is receiving wireless "N" signal bandwidth.
