If you're in the smartphone game long enough you'll know that the prices fluctuates like stock market lol. You cannot run away from price drops, part and parcel of the game. Most importantly just enjoy the phone :D

With a recent video the Mate 20 Pro & 6T even with double the amount of RAM against a competiting device has failed to keep apps in memory where the other device could. So all the EXTRA EXCESSIVE RAM really amounts to nothing :(

P3 XL also but it failed to keep even more Apps in memory tho this might have been addressed with a recent patch.

Take the P3XL. It is the safest and by far the best choice amount them if you plan on keeping and using it for a LONGER term.

For me, speed test are BS. Take for example Samsung. Why does speed test always failed against Apple? Bloatwares. Because it uses too many resources (running in the background). Same applies to most Android phones with heavy skins and dulipcate
apps (all takes up ram). Anyway you don't really count how long it takes to open an app. Just enjoy using the phone.

Been using naked for 5days now with my 3 XL, back is not slippery, but I wish they added more grip also on the side. Sides are so slippery.

I'm using also Zagg's Vision Guard, so far so good. Fits perfectly and the screen is clear.

Agree with this. How longer you can use your device is largely determine by the availability of software updates and new features in the longer term. Save for Google, Essential and Oneplus devices, the rest of the manufacturers will likely take a long time to roll out updates or perhaps even abandon support for their devices (look at xiaomi :s8: )

If you want on-screen + main cam + tele + wide-angle + more ram + expandable memory + 4,200mah battery. mate 20 pro

If you want on-screen + main cam + wide-angle + more ram + 3700mah battery. onePlus 6t

If you fast software update + stock android + single cam magic. pixel 3 xl

i already using OnePlus 6T. Just thinking of trying the pixel experience.

Tempted by the cam on pixel 3.

Not so hot on the default pie navigation. 6T have 1000% better implementation for gestures.
Also the notch on the XL is :s22:

You can download the stable pixel 3 google camera port for the oneplus 6t. Save the money.

Actually i have been wondering. Is it that devices cannot keep apps in memory or are they specifically programmed to clear them out whenever not active. If its the latter then no matter how much memory the device have it'll do exactly what it is programmed for anyway.

In the last email I received, it only stated they will contact me shortly on those 2 items. When did they send you the email on the redemption? Is it before or after you receive your phone?
It was after the phone delivery. Probably a few days after. That's for the case though. Can't help you much wrt the pixel stand cause mine came together with the phone.

Moment hoots are here.

The case feels premium. In my opinion it feels very similar to rhinoshield cases. However, it does make the phone look slightly bulkier compared to the fabric case. The edges of the case are very high. Using it with the WSD SP, there is only around 1mm clearance at the sides. Button presses are slightly stiffer. The fabric case has more clicky buttons which are easier to press especially while double clicking to start the camera app.

Lenses feel heavy and the mounting feels secure. It's unlikely that the lens will fall out once secured to the case.

Will post some shots of the wide angle lens later. Portrait lens still on the way.

Anyone using pixel 3 and regret not getting the XL or vice versa? Thinking of buying tomorrow but can't seem to decide on size. Coming from iPhone x and OnePlus 6t
