Tried the 3a and 3a xl at Challenger. Quite stuttery experience as compared to my 3.

According to reddit, it has a eMMC storage instead of UFS 2.1. So this might explain why it's stuttering.

But by doing that you are losing warranty leh. And going by the recent P3 screen fiasco I think having warranty is quite important lol.

Last month Google Fi users got to buy the Pixel and XL 3 at half price. Pixel XL 3 128g was only USD$500. Thinking about that makes this 3a pricing even more ridiculous.

SG is a smaller market. So you must consider the costs of setting up a local service center.

If our market is bigger, the markup is likely to be smaller.

If you go overseas, you pay less but be prepared for some defect risk.

I enable the gesture but the back button is still there. So the swiping for hamburger menu is not affected. But don't know final version will change not haha.

Screen looks okay to me. I can still see very minor uneven tint, but then again i'm super sensitive to such things. In day to day use, minor enough to not bother me. Colours looks okay too, and outdoor brightness is decent. Still can see some crushed blacks, but not as bad as it used to be on Pixel 2 XL already. Basically, it's a better screen compared to the Pixel 2 XL, but still lose out to like the top tier phones.
